Was the gift I gave in secret santa last year, figured I'd release it now It's just a very simple santa hat model on a stormtrooper with very minimalistic texturing done. Model Body: Default Jedi Academy Santa Hat Model: Milamber Weighting : Default Jedi Academy + Milamber Bot support: No. NPC support: No. Team Skins: Yes. SP support: No. Credits: - Thanks to Key for having requested this as his secret santa gift - Scooper for 3ds max plugins for both exporting and importing glm files directly. Modders: Anyone can use this model in their modding projects as long as I am credited for the santa hat model Installation: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Simply extract the pk3 to the gamedata/base folder of your Jedi Academy directory. ====================================================================== THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC. I don't disagree with you Merek xD it's a joke, it's not meant to be taken seriously at all, this is for the occasions where you might talk to your friends and go "hey, lets all go download the dumbest skin/model we can find and see who found the dumbest one!" My goal is to be the provider of the winner in that contest Also, sorry but the design isn't mine, as it's stated in the readme. I just used the 3ds max teapot primitive xD It took me 5 seconds to drag out. All I did was close up holes and weight + unwrap + bake AO to texture + add color. But lets just all agree it's amazing. It might be because it's really funny, really dumb or whatever reason, it amazes you anyways! (I hope)

Title : Teapot Author : Milamber Date Released : October 10, 2014 Model: 3ds Max primitive - but parameters set by me! Textures: Milamber Weighting : Milamber (it was very hard on this one, promise) Description: It's a teapot. An evil teapot, it has the evil voice of Rax Joris. Why did you make this?: I dunno...felt like it? Known Bugs: - When cutting off limbs it spawns a different body, This is caused by the fact that there are missing some pieces like l_arm etc. I'm considering fixing this for a version 2 where you'll be able to cut off parts of the teapot, like the nozzle, but not prioritized. - Doesn't have RGB support when it obviously should! I had some issues with it so meh, version 2 Bot support: No. NPC support: No. Team Skins: Yes. SP support: No. Credits: - Gilbert from EFF for requesting it while being random and therefore giving me the idea. - Scooper for 3ds max plugins for both exporting and importing glm files directly. Modders: Anyone can use this model in their modding projects as long as I am credited for providing it xD Installation: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Simply extract the pk3 to the gamedata/base folder of your Jedi Academy directory. ====================================================================== THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC. Understandable that it can be frustrating for you :/ But personally I don't have any urge to make Ashoka, not even converted into a more proper jka art style. sorry >_< And yeah I'm trying to find one that would be fun for me to make, but as I'm quite busy with uni (when it starts again, and now leading up to it), I know I'll need to find one I really really want to see finished to stay motivated xD So my epic quest for finding a character to make has started, atm I'm considering: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jarael but still not decided on one.

Aye I know, I just figured that outfit of revan had a lot of potential for others to have fun with after I was done. I'm open to suggestions though xD
-
I wanted to start working on this version of revan: but then I learned almighty_gir already started one that's almost this version exactly, so I got pouty (he stole my candy before I even knew I wanted it). Need to find another one I really wanna make xD

Bloopers and frag videos (2014) by Cydonis
Milamber replied to ent's topic in Art, Media & Technology
where can I get some of those weapon effects? I liked a few of those xD -
Agreed, that was actually more interesting than I expected it to be.
-
Is it just me or is his eyes looking kind of small on the front view picture? might just be that they're a bit more narrowed than normal... and maybe make the nose a bit wider around the apex? all of that might just be seeing the image a bit oddly from the view xD kinda looks like it's on orthographic view too.

looking good

Title : Chaosknight Author : Milamber Date Released : July 28, 2014 Model Body: Milamber Model Head: Default Jedi Academy Textures Body: Milamber Textures Head: Default Jedi Academy Weighting : Milamber Description: A personal model for my friend ShikyoZer0Ðin (previously Chaosknight), this was a test project for texturing and modeling armor. This would be the 1st version, as the final version would have more texture detail like wear and tear etc, and more heads added. But I'm releasing this version as is, tired of working on it and it's functional To get colors on the flap you'll need to use these commands: char_color_red 0-255 char_color_green 0-255 char_color_blue 0-255 Known Bugs: - Slightly bad shoulder deformation (under the shoulder pads) Bot support: No. NPC support: No. Team Skins: No. (but default duplicated to support team gameplay) SP support: No. Credits: - Chaosknight for the request and descriptions, odd request but was overall fun to make. - Scooper for 3ds max plugins for both exporting and importing glm files directly. - Ashura for some general help compiling assistance when working with xsiExporter, even though i didn't end up using it. Modders: Anyone can use this model in their modding projects as long as I am credited for the body model and textures Installation: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Simply extract the pk3 to the gamedata/base folder of your Jedi Academy directory. ====================================================================== THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC. Really nice DT xD I'm curious, how long did it take you to get it from start to the first screenshot you showed?

WIP Fixing the dotXSI 3.0 Exporter for 3ds Max...
Milamber replied to Archangel35757's topic in WIPs, Teasers & Releases
Aye I pretty much concluded that was the issue, and already talked with Ashura about how to solve it (exploding thingie) and yeah vertex normals respecting smoothing groups would be nice ^^ Means I could actually use them. (i'll add in the details of my issue in a lil while) -
I tend to start from the foot, not quite sure why.

Agreed with mini, I see a lot of random color dots.
