  1. I'm sure if you got baseJKA, repackaged it as a new mod but simply only changed the cursor icon, people would say the same thing.
  2. I know it's a bit late, but I'd also throw my name into the Namecheap hat. They're really really good. Not all domains can be private as you've found out. It's very difficult, for example, to get a .co.uk domain private.

    Interview: SiLink

Aye, the original vision of JKHub was that it interviewed people from all sectors of the community on a regular basis. We also had JKA related news in mind but that idea never really gained much ground or support after I stepped down unfortunately.

    Interview: SiLink

The JKA community is really lacking in such server unfortunately.
  5. I am no expert with Javascript, but that script seems to be just calculating something, not writing anything. You'll need to set up some document.write's or console.log's, that's IF the script is working correctly
  6. Basically what Circa said, I don't think any one is ignoring any one... The sections of the forum can apply to 1.0.1, 1.0.0, JK2, heck even dark forces since they're named "Jedi Knight ..." It also makes my skin itch a bit when people refer to this game as "almost dead", the daily steam stats alone for this game are very impressive and have been on the increase for a while now thanks to so much support from Humble Bundle, source code release, Steam sales and YouTube playthroughs (A surprisingly high number have come from watching these). I think the game presently is more popular than it has been in many years.
  7. Can't remember the last book, but I just started reading The Hive: The Story of the Honeybee and Us http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Hive-Story-Honeybee-Us/dp/0719565987
  8. Forgot the cvar for the spectator issue, but for npc, it's now amnpc e.g. amnpc spawn jawa
  9. Oh geez, is that still running XD? That was on way back when I started in JKA in 2004, really fun but confusing at times (At least back then) Mrs. Wooty and that pit though.
  10. I was thinking about mentioning Makermod, but in terms of influence I'd say Lugormod has played a bigger role overall. Just my opinion of course
  11. Yeah, the secret is tolerance 1, in the magic wand tool area.
  12. Probably just repeating people, but to add support, I'd say the most influential and used mods/projects in JA were/are: Movie Battles IIJA+OpenJKLugormod <- This probably doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves for adding/keeping people around this community.
  13. Actually, with the magic wand (Set to a tolerance of 1), you can get an exact model without any extra pixels or blur. This one took me 10 seconds, and most of that was minimizing windows and opening programs: (The forum might scale it down, so click on it to see the full image)
  14. If you count dark forces, I did play a demo constantly as a kid could never remember which game demo it was though.... you started off with an orange lightsaber, there was a lambda shuttle taking off >_> stormtroopers... etc
  15. Hmmm well I got JK3 in December 2004, and played JK2 for ~4 months before that... so probably around August 2004. Nearly 11 years now
  16. He has made it clear he doesn't want to do it Sheesh
  17. I'm the one who owns and pays for the jk3.in domain name, I believe JKHub donations pay for the cloudflare service that allows the redirects e.g. jawa.jk3.in
  18. That's a shame, but fully understandable. I'm surprised you guys kept it running for this long due to how much time it took up/money it cost, thank you for all these years of hosting those sites How many sites do you host by the way?
  19. But, his annoyingness made him hilarious, at least to me rofl See below:
  20. Just goes to show how the base textures (When used right) can produce some pretty epic looking maps with the right author looking awesome.
  21. ^ This. It sounds like your monitor is out of range when in the BIOS, which is very strange since I've never come across a BIOS that enforces any form of screen resolution.
  22. Okay, you might need a REALLY long cable then ;D
