  1. Yeah. @@Barricade24 has a much better base texture that the model will use: But the final in-game effect will be most likely be achieved with the help of a shader. Seems the logical way to do it.
  2. Well this is what I achieved this evening, in terms of reshaping the helmet and cape. No additional skinwork yet though - and the cape still needs fine-tuning.
  3. @@Barricade24 is working on the armour, and has a very good body of experience with stormtrooper skins. I'm just going to do what I can in adjusting the model, and leave the skinwork to him.
  4. I'm going to try and find some time this weekend to reshape Phasma's cape and helmet. The cloak seems to exclusively drape over one shoulder only, and her helmet has a little less chin than the standard First Order stormtooper.

    C3PO All Episodes Pack

Nice pack - I like how well you've been able to portray the Episode 1 version with just a skin.
  6. Not trying to be rude, but I'm sure DT and Psyko feel the same - there's no need to tag people constantly in request threads. If I had something to say in this thread, I would say it.
  7. I would be happy to contribute a reskin - but I can't think of a good enough idea. The one that would have caught my interest initially would be a Sith Lord skin, but you've already come up with a really good one of those.
  8. Don't worry, it's dead easy to get around this. When you import the .glm, make sure you delete 'default' as the skin option under the import options. Otherwise Blender is looking for an associated "model_default" .skin file for the weapon (as you get with player models) instead of not looking for anything at all.
  9. Your models look like faithful recreations! I'm sure the kitbashers on the forums could make great use of them.
  10. Sure, I'll PM you what I have so far. Your skinwork looks like it might be a bit more hospitable to the shaders needed for the in-game chrome effect anyway.
  11. Something I'm working on for the launch of The Force Awakens / the Hub's contest:
  12. I believe she's in the first dropbox link, a few pages back.
  13. Love the 'mystery model'
  14. It's a short story e-book. If anyone really wants to know what the 'lost treasure' is, I've been told that it's (major spoiler for the e-book, though almost certainly not for TFA itself):
  15. There is an NPC limit that the game can handl, as @@Raz0r said. You can either remove some of the NPC files from your mod pk3s or try the following which came up via a quick forum search: http://jkhub.org/topic/2885-jedi-academy-npc-limit/?p=38245
  16. I've dipped my toe into trying to create a Phasma skin from DT's stormtrooper model, but it's a pain in the neck trying to get that chrome armour juuuuuuuuust right.
  17. New Force For Change video featuring Mark Hamill. He's really looking great these days, can't wait to see him over the course of the sequel trilogy:
  18. Well I wasn't expecting to see this pop up on the Download list today! Awesome stuff, definitely lived up to the hype.
  19. 10/10, awesome model DT. You just keep getting better with every release.
  20. I toyed with the idea of porting this for my upcoming comic series. In short, the TFU model for Luke isn't that good - and for the record looks nothing like the screenshots when ported to JKA. For a recreation of ROTJ Luke that can be portrayed in JKA, Toshi / DT's versions are far far superior.
  21. He's very early-days though, I want to get a new batch of completed WIPs out before I start progressing with him and the other unannounced ones.
  22. As long as credits are given (not just to me but to all the people I've credited in my original kitbash) then I don't have any problems
  23. Pre-production is going well, got lots of new Rebel characters being made. Also updated the Sullustan featured in the teaser: One of the challenges of doing an OT-era comic compared to a Clone Wars one is that the 'grunt' troops for the heroes are all individuals rather than clones - which means there will be a whole army's worth of kitbashes being created to fill out the ranks of the Rebellion.
  24. Just use 'Edit Mode' in Blender, make sure you're in Face Select mode and by selectively editing certain parts of the model you can create a decent enough feminine form. It won't match up 100% compared to a fresh model created with Leia's exact proportions in mind, but in this particular case you can use the fact that Leia is wearing a jacket over most of her torso to your advantage. Practice makes perfect.
