I'm looking for someone to do the EFX work for my future weapon mods. Anybody talented and interested? Would normally just be simple stuff like the blaster shots and things like that.

As far as I know, that's true. You can sometimes do some tricky work with animmaps, if you just need an animated texture, but it's very limited in this engine.

I admit, I've never played WoW. I'll be happy to crit the models once they're made, though, if you want.

As the only female, I feel like that's a terrible idea.

If you guys ("you guys" being whichever of you maps) make a good hydroball map... and explains what hydroball is... maybe I'll play it with you.

For all that is holy, I have changed the thread title to actually describe what the thread is about. (Srs bsns.) I did not really do any modeling today, but I made a nice render with some mock vertex shading that also shows some updates from yesterday evening.

So I finished the scope. I tried to be really good, but still as many polies as a player model lol. I give up on being efficient -- I just want PURDY 8) So here's the reference I'm working from, for easier comparison: As you can see I'm missing some details on the scope (I haven't just skipped them) as well as the body, but it's come along pretty well so far. Any crits? (More reference pics in the spoilers below).

Try what I suggested in PM and then report to everyone how it works.

Meh, I didn't care enough to look into it that deep. I just split my mod into two PK3's and told my fans to deal with it lol. I don't know the exact number that's the max, I just remember that I split the pack alphabetically at "Rax Joris" so being toward the end of the alphabet I got "most" of them in.
