  1. Yeah that's why it's a work in progress. I literally threw it together. Everything's in a PSD though so it'll be really easy to tweak hues and things. Part of it is also that the background on the ME2 screenshot is blue and the background on mine is grey. Part, not all.
  2. Also, another little thing I'm working on (still a work in progress, but for a half hour to test it out it's not too bad). Mass Effect on the left, JK3 on the right.
  3. This model is already done - I just want to throw that out there, so peeps don't think I've given up on the Valiant. That's just definitely got more work to it, and this model's just a matter of customizing it for JK3 and getting it in-game. With that said: Thoughts on scale? I'll be making a black widow version of it also, if you hadn't gotten that from the thread title. Currently it has a VERY slight chrome shader on the worn bits - very subtle to the point that you almost can't tell - as well as a specular shader throughout. I'm hoping the effect is much more pronounced on the black widow version, but we'll see. Oh yeah, @@The One and Only I'm counting on you for effects for this one too!   4. Is he running a clean install or is he using mods? If he is using mods, please have him try a clean base folder without any third party modifications.

See the examples below: General setup: models/players/yourfolder/yourtexture { { map models/players/yourfolder/yourtexture blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ZERO rgbGen lightingDiffuse } } If you want a line in your skin file to point to something completely different. In this example, the file "torso" in the bobskin folder does not need to even exist, as the shader will tell the game to look in the stormtrooper folder for this texture. The skin file would still have the path to the bobskin folder, though. models/players/bobskin/torso { { map models/players/stormtrooper/torso blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ZERO rgbGen lightingDiffuse } } In theory, making an icon point to another texture. In this case, again in theory, the Kyle icon should now show the Lando icon without adding or moving any textures. Try it out and see if it works. models/players/kyle/icon_default { { map models/players/lando/icon_default blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ZERO rgbGen lightingDiffuse } }
  10. Hey team - this is for those of you who have given us permission to upload your mods for you. If you gave us the a-ok to upload your mods on your behalf, please do us a favor and take a look through your entries and make sure the screenshots and description are what you would like them to be. We've taken most of what we have from the read-me files and the screenshots from each individual source, however now is an exciting opportunity to make some updates. Feel free to contact any member of the staff (or post here) if you'd like anything updated. Naturally if you look through your listing and find we're missing a mod either let one of us know or feel free to upload it yourself with whatever screenshots and description you would like and a staff member will approve that file for you. Lastly if you've got some mods and you haven't told us to upload them for you, either PM me or Caelum or go ahead and upload them yourself! The more the merrier.

  12. I like it because it's not bloated with a bunch of shit I don't need, like FireFox is. I used FF for a long time before I finally switched to chrome. Haven't looked back since.
  13. Modders might do it right... as long as they backtracked and pretended Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy never existed. Ugh I mean Outcast wasn't that bad, but it was stupid compared to Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2. I just swear to god they went in completely the wrong direction with those two games.

  19. Should be available in HD. I tried to give you a few good angles. Looks like the projectile is just kind of a white ball + the smoke trail.
  20. Why's that, just out of curiosity? I'll get a vid up real quick because even I don't really remember what the projectile looks like, lol.
  21. I'll get some video of the weapon firing when it gets a little bit closer to release. This one probably won't be much of anything special. However I think there's like a smoke trail that comes from the projectile that hangs in the air a bit after it fires. Dunno if that's possible, but if it is it'd be badass awesome.
