  1. I think I may or may not have found her:

Very similar eyebrow shape, nose shape, etc. Couldn't get a front view of her. I made sure to use an older photo.

Grey DeLisle (AKA Grey Griffin), voice of Alora and Jedi Female.

    EDIT:

Here's a more modern picture, which shows the slightly rounded chin. I'm 90% sure that's her.

  2. It's under the rooftop (t2_rogue) textures, so that's certainly not a bad assumption. It does actually appear in that level, too.

But yeah, I'd say you're right about both of those things. Reusing assets, and making the stormies look a bit more human. I honestly never knew about this Easter Egg. Which is strange, given how many years I've been playing this game for.

It could even be something to do with the devs, one may never know.

  3. Ok, because I'm a nerd I translated the main sign the post is asking about:

    TRAFFIC

    VIOLATION
    ENFORCEMENT
    IS
    IMMEDIATE

So that's a thing. I'm curious now, so I might translate the other ones.

    EDIT: More translations.

    Purple Kel Dor sign says:

    EXERCISE

    EXTREME
    CAOTION (Caution?)
    ON ALL
    WALKWAYS

    Orange Kel Dor sign says:

    B

    A

    R

Would be good for maps with a cantina.

I'll do some more when I get home..

  4. It has to be uncompressed AVI fam. Get virtualdub, throw your file in there (mine was mp4 but i assume a compresed avi or whatever should work too) and save as uncompressed AVI.

That's how I made the JoF Cosmetic Mod video into roq.

    That might solve your problem.

Could you upload all the plugins you have installed for VirtualDub? Every time I try and import any video file, it comes up with some error.

  5. I don't think they were referred to as elders by any character or mission briefings/objectives, only on their NPC files. Weren't they just some random prisoners? Btw their faces, it's a bit of a stretch for me to take only 2 dudes as being prisoners,elders,jedi,merchants... when i was a kid playing JO and saw the prisoners in Artus and then saw them as jedi in Yavin i actually thought they were the same guys brought in for training!

About the coruscant mission, I wouldn't really call it nar shaddaa (ns is more grimy looking) but I wouldn't call it coruscant too. I guess corellia could be acceptable? Dunno much about it's aesthetic besides it being another metropolis-like planet

  6. I think this is possible only through coding. I know Jace Solaris coded electrobinaculars for SJE, for example.

Yeah, I had assumed it would have been impossible to do without coding. Would there be anyone willing to do it? I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult, just a matter of copying the MP code, right? (that being said, I have no idea how complex it is, nor do I have any idea how to go about doing this, so take that with a grain of salt)

  7. Like the title suggests, I'm wondering if it's possible to add items that are exclusive to Multiplayer to Single Player.

With the Cloak, it would have to make you invisible to NPCs. Apparently, it actually does that in Multiplayer too, which is pretty interesting.

With the Bacta, I'd like to have it go into your inventory to be used later, rather than working like an Instant Use Medpack.

    Thanks guys :D

  8. Favourite JKA Level: Probably t2_rogue (Coruscant) or t2_trip (Zonju V) - I've played t2_rogue quite a bit lately, mainly for modding purposes, but I did quite enjoy it; always remember to bring a DEMP 2, though  :winkthumb:

As for t2_trip, I always used to enjoy using the swoop bikes or spawning in a ship to use, despite always crashing into things.

Least Favourite JKA Level: t1_danger (Blenjeel) and t3_stamp (Tanaab) - I have very bad childhood memories of these levels, always scared the hell outta me, so glad they were optional.

  9. My first mod ever was a reskin of the reborn, not a recolor even - a reskin. I went into the amazing tool that is photoshop and brush-painted onto him some black and red lines for details (first time I opened the software, all I was capable of ofc - I started really small), then felt awesome iirc (imagine the most amateur, worst and ridiculous thing that I still for some reason call a "reskin" - back then I was 12 years old). Next thing I found out was Virtue's saber tutorial (@@Circa you could also add that to the list, I think the website is still up) which introduced me to gmax, the next step. It focused my attention to modeling basics, which in turn made me excited to learn how in hell he managed to make that texture for that saber - which in turn made me look up tens of tutorials of photoshop texturing tutorials for different materials like metal, fabric or cloth, plastic, gloss illusion, basic shadowing. After which I was perfecting said things over the years, until I learned PBR (physically based rendering) texturing and clever modeling from @@AshuraDX which he was kind enough (and had enough nerve, for some reason) to show me. Couple of years and a lot of lost nerves after I became what I do now. With a tiny shred of courage I started trying to do other things than lightsabers, literary, after I first tried the modern workflows three or fours years back.

But this is just a story of me and how I became this... surprisingly popular and demanded mod creator here in this community. Still, I would love to see anyone who does not know these things and is not capable of doing these things to at least try their hardest and TRY to follow in similar footsteps. Rome wasn't built in one night. America wasn't conquered on day 1. Give it an honest try over a long span of time and do your best, to try and learn these things, put as much effort into it as if you were studying for your final college exam or working on developing your own business. It is nowhere near as serious as the last things I wrote, it is just your free time hobby, but It will be worth it. About now, I honestly enjoy creating stuff much more than I do playing games - even if I'm not around a lot anymore. Only reason for that is real life and lack of time, tiredness and motivation.

If anyone has ever any questions regarding modeling/texturing/shaders or getting-stuff-in-game, I'm always availible and will answer here or on discord as soon as I am able to and I will be happy to help out and solve your problems. :) I'm a jack of all trades in regards to JKA but these things I'm sure to have an answer for, to take the load off of other people. Grip onto the courage and JUST DO EET!

I'm pretty sure my first skin was a green JK2 Reborn with purple skin (or at least the icon had purple skin)

My second one was a "Knight" - otherwise known as a crappy recolour of the Snowtrooper that's bright white with a hint of aqua, and a red lower cape.

    Good times...

  10. Not sure if I'm able to commit to this, but here's a simple file I made.

Something I noticed when looking through the files is that Raven didn't bother changing Rosh's victory sounds (victory1, victory2, victory3) for rosh_dark

Which means he has a 1/3 chance of saying "I'm a great Jedi!" when he's on the dark side... Yeah, little bit awkward and unfitting, not gonna lie.

This fixes that by using a voice clip taken from Skyrim to say "Not so tough now, are ya?"
