  2. I'm sure there is a reason that his saber is cobbled together rather than made decently. Maybe Kylo was trying to get Anakin's saber and failed, so he had to make his own and could only use non-standard parts? As to why it's a crossguard and not just a standard one, could be some symbol thing for the Knights of Ren.

  4. Could you elaborate on the push modifier? I'm not following you. Over the top bevels? Explain. The details were carved when the low poly base was subdivided twice.
  5. I have a maya JKA skeleton for download on here but I'm on my phone so I can't link it. The skeleton is experimental as I'm a noob with maya.
  6. Doesn't work like that. First person guns use different models than what you see in third person. The only thing you can do is bring over the JO first person saber view.
  7. In theory, you can use noesis to convert the md3 or GLM to fbx for maya. I've never tested exporting a model to fbx with maya though as it's not my software of choice. I'd like to work with you on this to see if it can be done.

  9. I'd prolly have to go over it either in Zbrush or the relax brush in Max as this is a heavily subdivided mesh. Can you point out where you see the pinching? EDIT:
  10. I think they will remake it in HD and tweak a few things to Disney's liking so it can be canon. The rumor said that it would add a few extra things to get returning players back so it's not just revamped graphics.
  11. Just need the verts spread out more so the high poly doesn't look pinched. Here's a good flow for a mouth: http://www.secondpicture.com/tutorials/3d/3d_modeling_a_mouth_in_3ds_max.html Notice how it's only quads, not tris. Not saying you are using tris but if you are, you should fix it.
  12. I see the images just fine. The only things I have issue with is the corners of the mouth, they look too sharp and the mouth shape looks a bit too sad.

  14. I don't think there's much interest in terminator games, so I dumped the project last year.
  15. Found a much better way of doing things to have next to no pinching. That means needing to go back and redo the helmet & arm armor at some point.

  20. For all we know, it's some ancient sith saber sword that has special meaning. I'd say don't knock the saber until we know why it looks how it does. Could be something that makes alot of sense. EDIT: I dunno, it just seems logical that I pick this up after my Maul model. No idea when I'll get around to it though, and it would only have textures for rend2.
