Yeah, I think Ibanez was the guy I was thinking of. I wish his stuff would have gotten out to the public. It really was excellent work.

I remember there was a guy on Lucasforums who did great work on some of the first view Jedi Knight levels. However, since Lucasforums is pretty much dead now, it is unlikely that he can be reached.

It looks like, compared to the reference shots, that the main part of Luke's belt is straight and not slanted.

So I think I have a pretty much full list of all the equipment needed to make the perfect Clone model. It's rather big but anyway, here it is: Clone Needs: Airborne Torso Band Airborne Helmet Airborne Ammo Pad Airborne Satchel Arm Ammo (seen on Bly) AT-TE Gunner Helmet (Phase I and Phase II) ARC Trooper Gear (Gauntles kilt packs etc...) ARC Trooper Pad ARC Trooper dual pad with body armor (Fives and Echo) ARF Helmet Bacara Helmet Bacara Pad Back Antenna (41st Trooper) Bly Flipdown visor (up and down) Chest Armor (seen on gunners in the Clone Wars as well as armor shoulder pads also seen on gunners) Ganch Pad Clonetrooper Backpack (Similar to the one Kix has) Cody's gear Chest Holsters (Commander Ganch with pistols) Gree's Gear (Phase II) Head Antenna Jetpack (Seen on Commander Wolffe) Kilt Kilt Holsters (with pistols) Leg Holsters (with pistols) Phase I Helmet Phase II Helmet Phase I Pilot Helmet with lifesupport box Phase II Pilot Helmet with lifesupport box (Clone wars) Shoulder Antenna used by Cody (can be used with regular shoulder pads) Pauldron (with a surf ammo band seen on Bly) Neyo Helmet Neyo Harness Non mirrored model!! While the model may not be the best, the model I have used for the "Shiny" and the Wolfpack does have quite a few things that are able to be used. They have kilts, pauldrons, visors, and other such things, which add a variety to Clone troopers. I would like to see a new Clone model just as you would, but till someone decides to make one with the many add on parts needed, it is the best one we have for the time being. So I offer that you use that for the time being. Feel free to use the "Shiny" for any designs you wish to explore.

A little bit of a tease for one of the 10th Legion's special units...

I have a suggestion. For Saboteur and characters similar to him I recommend using the Commando Droid instead of the Super Droid. It seems to make more since for a Commando Droid to be sabotaging stuff than an SBD. You don't have to use this but I think it would be a great addition to the mod.

For quite some time I have often wanted to make my very own legion and after some concept work I finally have a working idea. I am still working the back story for this particular legion but I believe I have a working design for them. Now I do know that they were around during the Clone Wars but due to some event that I have not yet determined they were put into stasis and later return. This particular legion is like a subfaction of the Empire. The sport black and white paint jobs on everything. Vehicles, armor, starships, everything! I do not yet know how exactly this legion is ruled but the backstory can wait. Meanwhile here is a design of the Stormtrooper, which will be a base for most of the others. Also to note there is a squad known as Barrier squad that was a tight group of troopers that were the best of the best in the 10th legion. Their designs are still WIP but they will be similar to the one shown above. Let me know what you think.

Boba looks like he's getting a little too beat up. I don't remember him being that dirty. My advise is that he be cleaned up a little bit.

I'm no expert but you might be able to use some transparency on certain parts of the texture and have it under a different name. That way only the parts that are visible in the texture will register in game. I did such a thing for my Phase II Commander Wolffe. You can check out his shaders to see if it is what you are looking for.

Cool. You have my full support with regard to your trooper model. I always love seeing more trooper related files.

Yeah he was, He was the blue trooper that kind of looked like the 501st legion. In terms of color at least. Sweet that is awesome! If you could also un mirror the ammo belt thing on his right leg then that will be perfect for the Commander. Not to sound so demanded but as I have said before, I am absolutely obsessed with detail.

What are you working on right now?

Delta 62. I'm trying my hand at the commandos because I have been comparing the main skins with the representations from Republic Commando and have noticed some things that are off. Since I am a complete sucker for detail I'm giving it a try and will see what I can come up with. -
For a simple Stormtrooper, yeah the mirror doesn't really matter. The Stormtrooper Commander however, is kind of where the mirrored effect gets in the way. The Stormtrooper Commander has a one scar going down one side of his helmet, doing this without the mirror effect is possible but isn't 100% accurate. So if people want an ST Commander, it can be done, but it won't be picture perfect to the original unless an adjustment is made so that that won't be the case. Not trying to sound demanding, but I like to create things that are as accurate as possible.

I don't mean to be speaking for Chalk here, but the Haps model really needs a non-mirrored helmet. If someone could do that, that would really be all we need in terms of a good Stormtrooper model. I can't really skin a perfect Stormtrooper Commander without a non-mirrored helmet. I imagine that would be much easier than making a whole new model.

I'll see what I can do when I get to the shaders. Maybe when I setup the specs I can try doing as you have suggested. -

Gregor is back underway. I have been able to add a few more marks on the side of the helmet (which is a pain in the neck by the way). The most note-worthy thing in this update is the second layer of camo added to the majority of the armor. I am especially pleased how it worked out on the legs and thighs. Let me know what you think. -
The model isn't mirrored is it? I have been itching to get my hands on a Stormtrooper model that isn't mirrored. Also, does he come with a Stormtrooper backpack or pauldron? Those are real essentials to ST models.

No don't let your childhood be ruined! Hold on to you know and love! Reject...whatever this is. In all seriousness, parodies are nothing new. I suspect we will get more things like this in the future. I think the best thing to do is to just ignore stuff like this. It shouldn't take away from the franchise we know and love.
