  1. Will a model be okay in JKA with these verts?:
  2. Have we ever got a canonical depiction of the Hero of Tython/Outlander from the MMO: "Star Wars: The Old Republic". If not he should be done at some point. Great work on Ren btw mate.
  3. Links are finally back, I need to apologize for how long it took, just had a bit of a lack of motivation for awhile. Make sure to point out any glitches or errors you experience! Erdrick and Ichigo should be up soon. Edit: Still workin on em. I wanna bring something up to ya'll so you may understand why they're taking longer then just the average "upload the model" and that's it. 1. I do not port these models over from games, I have a partner who shall not and probably never will be named who brings these models over for me, he's helped me with a lot of these models. Once I show him a model, I have to be patient until he decides it's ready, which sometimes takes awhile because a few models are quite high-poly and from obscure games. 2. I am not comfortable releasing just a model, that's just not me. I like to give bot support, new sounds for the characters and weapons (and again yes, bringing over the weapons matters to me), npc support, effects for said weapons, making sure the weapons are the right shape and size, all of these being lore-accurate to their source material. To give you an example, the Thor that I'm working on? He hasn't been done yet because I'm working on his weapon effects (his hammer uses a weapon effect that adds lightning whenever it hits a surface) and his soundpack, I'm unable to find movie sentences for him that sound cool enough to add for him, not to mention the fact that I'm trying to find a way to make the hammer length long enough to actually hit people. Thor's hammer is so tiny and is unable to strike people because the saberLength is so small. The sound files are not taken from youtube either (in the case of Thor I had no choice, his hammer uses the swing sounds from the movies), usually they are rips, I go through thousands of sound files often to find the best sounds for whatever character, the Warrior of Light, Garland, and Chaos had sounds taken directly from Dissidia, Dissidia NT, and FFI Anniversary Edition. Sorry if this comes off as pretentious, I just felt ya'll were owed an explanation. I hope this helped ya'll understand, I'll try my best to get them out soon but they'll probably be out one-by-one and slowly.
  4. Don't you have to weigh models to add them to JKA?
  5. Dules is a genus of marine ray-finned fishes which is a member of the subfamily Serraninae of the family Serranidae, which includes the groupers and anthias.
  6. Awesome man! If you want the Thanos sword I think I posted it earlier in the thread. Found it.
  7. One of the best models I've ever seen. Absolutely phenomenal work.
  8. That's fine buddy, come back whenever you feel like coming back ?
  9. It's an absolutely amazing map, from what I've seen, I love it! It has literally everything you could ever want from any map, so much time and effort has been put into it and it's quite possibly the best map JKA has ever seen.
  10. I don't know you that well, but I've been in a similar place myself for the past 3 years. If you ever need to talk, or even just vent, please, please talk to me. I don't think anyone cares more about the maps then your feelings. You are important, you matter and you should feel like you matter. If you have no one there, just know, whether I know you well or not, I care about you, and I want you to be okay and someday rise above all this depression. I sometimes feel like I don't belong either, this community can be harsh and expect so much and be so ungrateful sometimes and it sucks. Just know you are loved and appreciated, and that while a map would be great, your sanity, mental and physical health are far more important, and I think I can speak for everyone here when I say we all want you to be okay more then just about anything you could give us game-wise. I used Arrevanous a lot, and it resonated with me, the messages I saw, didn't know if it was a girlfriend or a friend or family member you'd lost, but I do know it truly resonated with me because I too have lost a lot of people. My father passed away in 2015, my grandfather, multiple uncles I was close with, and even a cousin I grew up with has passed away recently. So if nothing else, just know you have someone here that understands maybe at least some of your pain, even if it hardly helps at all, just know you have someone here who knows some small inkling of how you feel. Anything I could ever do to help you, please, tell me. You are loved, you are important, and you are amazing, Nicholas, remember that, and remember that we love you with all our hearts, you are a credit to this community and we couldn't be prouder of you.
  11. Gotcha, this is mainly a single-player or bot tutorial, haha.
  12. @Colonel Birdstrong Hey dude, any updates? How is Ike coming along? No rush but it has been 2 months now so I was just wondering how everything was going!
  13. This wouldn't change the model, you would however, see a longer sword trail. But as far as the physical sword itself, it wouldn't hit anyone, you'd just be hitting them with air, depending on how long the sword actually is.
  14. It is? It looks fine to me.
  15. Any update to Kratos?
  16. Mate that's Wolverine from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009. "The Wolverine" was a different movie and was released in 2013. Not a big deal but thought I'd let you know. ^^ They all look great though!
  17. Do you have any plans to do DC universe or just Marvel? We have a few popular DC heroes but no obscure ones, haha.
  18. Before anyone asks, I'm aware the swords are messed up, but I absolutely plan to re-upload them soon, dw. Just been feeling a bit... lazy today, lol. Also gonna tweak the sounds a bit add team support, fix the sword length using the tutorial I just posted, etc. Stay tuned, we ain't done yet! ^^
  19. Anyone feel like doing this?
  20. Hey dude, are you retired or still doing stuff?

    1. BlindDaThief

      BlindDaThief

Is this SithJCull???? He was a LEGEND even when I first starting playing this game... 10 years ago!

  21. I'd love it if this game became the new g-mod. I know it's a long shot, but all we need is a bunch of characters modeled to bring in new influxes of players. saintmillion, VenturianTale, and Game Brain have likely brought over TONS of players.
  22. Looks like a handsome young man.
  23. It's meant to be for swords. Changed the title to something that better conveys what this tutorial is about, thank you for the help though, mate.
  24. This is mainly a tutorial for adjusting PHYSICAL WEAPONS like swords, staves, pretty much anything that isn't a lightsaber, things like this: Or this: Not really for this: Or this: For those wanting to find out how to change your LIGHTSABER length, go here: https://jkhub.org/wiki/index.php?title=.sab With that said, let's get into the tutorial! This is a tutorial to show you how to stop the blade at JUUUUUST the right length (the tip, or end of the weapon, obviously), so you don't end up hitting your opponents with the air if it's too long... ...or hitting them with the hilt if it's too short. ? So, everyone knows you can change your saber's length using a .sab file, this is obvious, but how about a sword? Kind of unpredictable, because the length doesn't show since it's a physical blade, right? Unless! When editing your .sab file for your sword or bladed weapon, add this to it: (noBlade "0") no parenthesis. So it should look something like this (this is my own .sab file for a sword that just got ported): Adding that simple command adds a saber blade that you can see even if there's a physical blade there, this blade can be increased and decreased according. This is it at saberLength "90": This is it at saberLength "50": As you can see, the SABER blade changes length, while the physical sword length stays the same, so all you need to do is keep changing the length till you get right down to the tip of the sword. This will also work with weapons that have multiple sides/ends, like a staff, double-bladed sword, and even a shield or hammer. If you're using a SHIELD or HAMMER, you may want to make use of the "saberRadius" command, which will widen the SABER blade until it's at the same wideness as the physical weapon. If you're using a weapon with more then one side/end, you'll need to make use of "saberLength2", "saberLength3", as well as "saberRadius2" and "saberRadius3". When you need to remove the saber blade for good in favor of your physical weapon, change it from: noBlade "0" to noBlade "1" Hope this helps, ya'll!
