Have you ever been in a clan that you cared a lot for? Was or is a leader of? Call it pride if you want. Sounds better than yep I paid for it thus the rights are mine X) (but thank you Wasanohime~ ) I played before 1.01 was even out...I've seen plenty of sabotage, spies and people who join other clans to destabilize it from within, one of my server providers accidentally (lazily) copied my server for another client, can't fault me for being paranoid. But those are tales for another time. Or maybe you can say I'm like MoonDog who's left this forum since people took his stuff, used it left right center and called it theirs with a minor bit of tweaking. Not that I'm after credit. But effort / or money has been put in. Particularly if that something that has been made is unique.

Well if I had a say, specifically clan-only model definitely wouldn't want that going outside >< especially if I paid good money for it. Sentimental value I suppose.

I paid for one or two eons ago. Creator was happy, I was happy. Incentives are good as long as one doesn't get too greedy. And of course willing buyer. If you could deliver the moon, sure I'd pay. Would have totally paid for custom items for tournament or achievements back then when JKA was still hot. Sadly those that I know and even myself have left the game now. One thing always bugged me though. Even if we had an agreement to keep the item between ourselves only, always felt that one day it might still leak out. But that's just me.

A little bit of good news. Apparently the map was finished - a long time ago too - except that my buddy isnt sure he still has the files T_T we'll just have to hope while he digs through old drives. Will update here if he finds anything :<

check your entities thoroughly, perhaps you left out a { or added in an extra, or missed a " or you had a typo somewhere etc. you mean your game crashes when you join a server that has it when the file is not in your base?

I've dropped him a msg, but his phone says he was last seen on in March >< so don't get too hopeful :< I did like the map too, incomplete as it was (only had that bridge, the medical bay and escape pod area), perhaps someone might make a brand new one if he never turns up again.

As the title states...which is better for JKA server hosting? It's been a while since I touched SSDs, don't remember. Wouldn't be doing this if some turd wasn't continuously DDOSing the only server that my friends get a good ping to. Thanks in advance.

there is an inactive Steam group where most of us are in it - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/UNMMG you can just get on any makermod server and start building, downloading a plugin isn't necessary but useful for easy object placing and so forth.

well its a shame to see you leave. I am no fan (hate) of the new movie/what-nots that's been produced since SW was sold, but I still love the old stuff. And JKA is in that era. I don't mod / map/ anymore, but stick around to read here everyday, minus the threads made on new movie models maps...you don't have to like the new movie and its future. Me too I feel like you, but JKA/jk3files/whatever site that is related to the game is what I grew up with...would never leave it. May the Force be with you ><

Sounds like what I had the last time my gfx card died. Mine was three years old...and blew up too after I installed some new drivers... Have you a spare/ancient one to swap out to check?
