  1. No Way. Better is the enemy of Good. And as I don't know whether Win 10 any good at all, and I am quite okey with what I already have now. I don't want to spend lots and lots of time on understanding how to launch all the old stuff on a newer system. Corporations, corporations... All this is smelling very much like Deus Ex scenario. Green Soylent too.
  2. I said, those are not facts. So far most things we read - are rumors only. And the author never actually claimed to have read any proven info on the plot. He put several parts into one telling. It's like a yet incomplete puzzles with some blocks missing. Some things are close to rumors, which most people believe to be true - like that Kylo Ren is related to the main characters via family line. And other aspects seem to be simply logical. I am skeptical about many stories myself, including the one, that Boba Fett would return. No way. ) Dozens others also just an imagination of fans. As for a friend, that boasts as being close to the shooting team - that's truly a hoax.
  3. While we have rumours, there are also theories (which sometimes prove to be right) by fans, and they are often very curious to read. One such person made this video, with some possible explanations on the plot. On Max Von Sydow Character. Rewatched "Minority report" yesterday to see how he acts in the films. Jakku Battle . Luke, Leia, Han and the new generation of Skywalkers.
  4. @DrXann I don't know, maybe his role is not that of the Emperor. He might be a leader to a criminal gang or some sect, which might have emerged after the fall of the Empire. The photo of Serkis suggests, the character has somehow an evil sight. I doubt the character is from the Light Side. =)
  5. A synopsis for Episode VII has been revealed (CAUTION! Spoiler-rumour below!!!!) Source As I read this sentence I instantly thought of Episode IV original script. Some designs also speak in favor of this.
  6. @zeƒilus I still bet on the Corellian smuggler. The Falcon team is not the only ones coming back, but the death of characters like Ackbar or the Sullustan captain wouldn't have the same impact. Force Ghost is #2 in my list of probabilities, so only one guy might appear here. It's not Lando, as he will appear in Episode VIII later on, no doubt about that. I hope Wedge will be in later stories, when the actor agrees to reprise the role after seeing Episode VII @@DrXann The name hasn't been revealed yet, but the ship is present in the trailer, so no doubt the model does exist. The question is whether the set itself isn't a fake.
  7. @ No, R2-D2 would most likely continue the line - he is the only character to have witnessed all the stuff in all the episodes. As for Falcon... Well, I've already said what might happen. Meanwhile, it was only a matter of time before some Lego sets about Episode VII would pop up. The first is the new First Order Shuttle, seen in the trailer. It might be a fake one, but yet...
  8. There is an interesting article about things, which might surprise us in Episode VII. I must say, the article itself presents theories only, but some are close to be true. More than that we even voiced some of the ideas here on the forums. Be careful.
  9. It must be possible. There have already been made two mods for Battlefront, which use models from KOTOR1 and Mass Effect.
  10. @@the_raven If you are asking, who she is and why, then I can't say too much right now. Though I've mentioned her a few times here and there. She is a Zabraki amateur archaeologist, or so she claims. Being of strong anti-Imperial ideology, she also despises the Jedi for some reasons. As she is visiting various dangerous places due to her studies, she has a profound training in combat and dueling, though her true abilities remain unknown. She is in no way a person with any public knowledge about her, and she stays away from Galactic affairs like the ones, which happened on Korriban three years prior.
  11. @ It was said, the music in the trailer is actually the one composed by John Williams. So he started working on the score for the TFA some time ago. I don't think anyone else would fit better in making music for main Star Wars films. The Anthology movies are known to be working with a different composer.
  12. @@DarkForcesII Fortuntelly or not, but the game is no longer canon. For some time it was the only source, telling us the story of how Jango lived before the Separatist crisis and how a clone army was planned to be created. I saw lots of videos regarding the game, and read the encyclopedia about the characters. I don't like the idea of this dangerous clan, led by a former student of Dooku. But overall the whole game wash;t that bad. Dooku used these sabers much later, when Assaj Ventress appeared at the war front. Like many other sources, the game contradicted a lot to other stories, and it's up to you to choose, whether it's worthy of any recognition.
  13. Strange, I didn't notice at first, but isn't that a stone texture on the walls? The lighter one?

    Nikto

@@GPChannel I've looked into this matter. Yes, KOTOR does have very good sounds for Nikto, but there are only a few. For the most this includes pain sounds and death. Sometimes taunts. Just like in SWTOR, which has only a few voice files for most NPCs. In JA there are dozens, including at least four for the damage, several deaths, taunts, and other.
  15. We all know, how Vader's helmet will look like in Episode VII. But this is how the helmet from Episode IV looks now in real life. link
  16. Tuskenium.ru published a link to a video, showing 18 seconds from Episode VII. http://vk.com/video-44229941_171287748 Don't expect too much there though.
  17. To make EA feel sad (or angry) some people from 4Chan registered in advance all possible domains for Battlefront, before EA was able to do so. EAStarWarsBattlefront.com and EAStarWars.com are somehow in private use. O_o http://www.eastarwars.com has only one page, which states, that Battlefront has been cancelled.
  18. Sulon is one of the missions in DP, and we wanted to tie the location more to the originals via design. Imperial facilities will also boast the same objects + some Imperialization from the films and JO.

    Nikto

@ It was one of the models we wanted to release prior to the mod. The problem is that I couldn't find any suitable sounds for this model. And Nikto really needs some.
  20. "Will someone get this big walking carpet out of my way?"
  21. @ What phase are you looking for? Dark Forces mod includes a model of Phase I Dark Trooper, but it is for JO. You can still use it though. As for Phase II — someone ripped a model from Battlefront, but you won't find it here, on the forums. Phase III has never been made for any games, as far as I remember, and is only seen in the original game. You might try using a model of Hazard Trooper or Rockettrooper (Jetpack), adapted specifically to be used in JA in multiplayer.
  22. @@IrocJeff The Mortis arc, the one you've mentioned, is perhaps one of the most disputed in TCW and Star Wars at all. I will admit, that the ideas of the Force and its balance - is a good move. But the performance in these episodes is what I don't like too much. The mystic planet and a "piramid" (or whatever) in space might be okey, but why would the planet react to day and night so severely? I doubt, that the Dark Side means death. Destruction perhaps, but the concept of Mortis switching surroundings to life and death due to day and night is not convincing. It is also as if it were shown from the point of view of the Light Side. The visual appearance of the Father, the Son and the Daughter is also something what I wouldn't expect from such creatures. While the Father looks more like a classic wizard, a magician, the Daughter looks more like a dancer of some sort. She wears clothes, which do not reveal her Light Side allegiance, but rather show, that she is a frequent visitor of some sort of a banquet on a Core Worlds planet. The Son is probably the one, who looks more appropriately to the situation And I even like the voice-acting here. But the simpler clothes of the "deities" are, the better and more convincing they look. I this way, the priestesses in the Yoda arc look far better, and it's not possible to define their species. I think, the Father would look much better if he looked as Vigil AI on Ilos in Mass Effect 1. He could of course switch his appearance to a humanoid form.
  23. @ I think, one of the early complaints it that the new Battlefront will feature fewer options, available in previous games and what is actually confirmed already. For me Star Wars is the six films now, not three or 2,5. However it is true, that the lack of some things will be compensated by other aspects of the new game.
  24. Watched one of (many) reviews of Episode VII trailers. It seems I was right about the black "commando" guy on the left among very different stormtroopers of the First Order. Also it seems that captain Phasma is present in more than one scene in this trailer. She is also standing right by the Imperial leader to the right, when all the troopers turn around with red seal of the Order in the background. Also one picture. I was right! In one of the discussion people published this picture: It reminds so greatly of Dantooine, but I am sure TFA won't feature that.
  25. Oh, @@Kualan, I see you've made Neimodians! These are the best up to date, that I have ever seen made by fans. Trade Federation leaders are among my favorites.
