Additionally, I'm in full support of a chat or shoutbox. I've seen it do wonders for some of my forums in the past.

Waaay back I decided to try out Jedi Outcast because a fellow fan and friend of mine introduced me to it. Back then it was mostly all FFA and I hadn't even been introduced to the idea of Roleplaying. Ancient times they were....Anyway, I joined a clan called The Force Order - {TFO} and it had Roleplaying aspects mixed with ffa'ing. I still remember the name of my first apprenticeship under a "Jedi Master" named Vex in one of my earlier clans... Those days set the JKA series in stone, for me. I was much younger and back then the PC was my step fathers. I used to hate the amount of limited time I was allowed to play the game but I took up every chance I could get. To me, back then, there was no game greater than Jedi Outcast's Multiplayer. >| KDR Exile |<

I'm not sure how old JKfiles is exactly but I have to agree with MUG on this one. I know I'm only a member and have nothing to do with the crew workin' this site but it's still very early days. Give it some time mate, so much work has gone into this place and it's a far greater improvement than JKfiles (In my opinion), I suspect things will pick up in due time. I will see what I can do about advertising, personally. If clans get in to support the place, links will eventually spread. The only other thing I could think of would be rather rude but...Advertise on JKfiles? :unsure: Nevermind....Bad idea, right ?

Kinda looks like a bulldog....so "Pet project" is definetly fitting. I can't imagine how much trouble it might be to perfect a skin however. I've tried and failed. Yours looks good. Especially in comparison to some of the skins I've tried to do. Nicely done. EDIT: Clone trooper armor looks strange, I have to add. Needs to maybe, be better fitted to the model rather than stand out so much...That and the tunic stands out a lot too...It just looks to much like...You've basically ripped to skins from another couple models and thrown them together on that top one. The other two look good though.

I'm looking for, or was looking for a suitable map that could serve as Iridonia but seeing as how I've yet to find one to my liking, I was wondering if anyone's considered making one, not just for me but for the JKA community as a whole. Like Azatha, I'm one of the more recent generation of members in the clan though. I don't know where I'd be in the Jedi Knight community without ::JEDI:: and the members there. The RP is bloody awesome, very high quality in most of it and the support and friendly atmosphere is a big plus!

This is an open and public site, Infiltrating wasn't exactly the word that came to mind from my perspective though I do know what you mean, I'm sure they're just checking the place out, probably trying to determine whether or not this site was made/inspired in any way by their own. I don't think we're in the wrong here, this is a community giving website with a coincidental name. Their posts suggest that they're a little "up in arms" about the whole ordeal though I wouldn't give it to much worry or attention.

I can see their reasons for questioning that name but in no way do I understand the fuss, to be completely honest. Considering the amount of work that's "apparently" (And I say apparently only because I was informed prior to the opening), gone into making this site a success over the past year plus, this site has had obviously no intention of rivaling this other "JKHub.net", if at all even been aware of it and the truth is that as fitting a name as "JKHub" is, it's not exactly the most rare of names out there, so it's not surprising that two groups have used it for the same or likely reasons. A complete coincidence, to my knowledge, I would hope that if they feel there is any reason for conflict, disagreement or otherwise, that they might come to the Administrators here and mutually discuss whatever it is they're feeling. The fact is however that they have no grounds to stand on, It's already been stated that the name JKHub hasn't been claimed legally as copyrighted and unless they've been provoked by members of this site, which I'm absolutely confident that they have not and will not be, there is really no issue here other than a little resentment over the name. Hey guys, Some of you know of me, most likely do not but for all, I am Kieran Orion. I've been playing the Jedi Knight series since Jedi Outcast was released and have thoroughly enjoyed the games to say the least. I'm currently still playing Jedi Academy. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you know my thoughts on the new Site, I must say it is impressive! A lot of work has obviously gone into making this site a success and I will happily say that I am in support of it, You guys have done an amazing job.
