  1. I stand corrected! OJP was one of the most successful mega mods of all Jedi Academy history! Welcome back to Jedi Academy! It certainly is the game that keeps on giving. I can't wait to see what you come up with! If you've got any practice with rigging, I have some models stuck in the pipeline to get into game, lol
  2. Ah, but that is the holy grail that countless hundreds of modders have set out to find, lol. Thankfully Jedi Academy supports more manageable individual mods that build up to something epic.
  3. If you have a .MD3 of the ship you want to replace it with, you can replace the corresponding map object. The problem I've had is that scale is a variable I can't account for in that, lol. I replaced the transport you're talking about with my dagger fighter by saving a MD3 of the ship and textures as models/map_objects/imp_detention/transport.md3 and the same technique worked for the scow in Outcast. I think the previous point about them not replacing it in certain maps would still hold true, but it'd be worth some experimentation. Confirmed, it did not affect mp/ffa3.
  4. That is a great idea! I can see it going big for roleplayers and film makers for sure.
  5. This is mesmerizing! Astounding work so far! The hyperspace is super impressive.
  6. Hello all! I'm sure many of you have seen me popping up here and there as a Jedi Academy enthusiast. I wanted to reach out with some models of interest. For quite some time, I worked with an artist named Phazzzer to develop models for Jedi Academy. Then when we'd gotten the models in shape, other great modders like Jeff and Noodle and OCD2 would help bring them into game. But of course, everyone's only human. Due to life circumstances and schedules, there's been a bit of a backlog of models that could use some help. These are all originally made, hand crafted, no ports. Some are closer to being game ready than others. Some are a bit off model and would need adjusted to the skeletons. I'm not even asking for all of them. If anyone sees a single model and goes "Ah, that looks like something I'd have fun working on!" All the better. I just don't want these gathering dust forever when people in the community could enjoy them. Thank you all for your interest and time! Not Started: Done:
  7. Has night fallen? If it has, you've made up for it with exceptional lighting in the map!
  8. That Atlantis map sure was a thing of beauty!

    Tie Shuttle

Oh, this is a great choice! Technically canon but never given enough love. Fantastic work!
  10. Huyang certainly has a lot of reference shots now that didn't exist before. Quickly moved up the ranks of droids in the universe for sure.

    Duros

The man, the legend returns! Jeff's back at it again, expanding our universe with vastly needed representatives of diverse worlds. This Duros is a quite solid piece of work that will fill out RPG scenes and act as a very nice alternative to mercenary npcs.
  12. WOW! This is astounding!!! Mind blowing content that I can't wait to play!
This map is an excellent return to form for the community. Featuring a location we only got to see a little of, it offers both gameplay balance for MP FFA as well as a good sense of atmosphere for roleplayers and film makers. Lighting and texture work is above average and there is some ambient battle noises at portions of the map. The only downside is that one might get a little lost moving around the map since the colors are uniform, but that offers great chances for hiding and sniping. There is an excellent use of verticality as well. While designed to be Jedha, I can also see the map operating as Kiffu/Kiffex as well.
  13. I am so happy that these contests inspire people to create such a wide variety of mods for the game! It really is fantastic.
As generations of Jedi Academy players fall and others rise, like masters and apprentices, few have been bold enough to take on customizable characters. It is what set Jedi Academy apart from so many games. For film makers, it is the lifeblood of new characters. Not only that, you took on a Twi'lek! The weighting had to be hard, but you did it, and you did it with multiple costumes! This feels like the extension of the single player game that we always needed. Fantastic work!!

  15. Could be great map assets, vehicle sources, all sorts of things. Very beautiful!
  16. I love the Tron aesthetic. You're capturing a very amazing range of styles here, too! The outlands map and Amber Garden are going to be my favorites.
  17. I am so excited! What a neat, unique vehicle!
  18. It looks like there is a texture or shader conflict between that file or another one in your base folder. Do you have pakscape to look at the contents of pk3 files?

  20. You could convert the glm game model into something unity understands. You would need pakscape or a pk3 registry that let's you get the model and textures out.

    Tye-Wing

Sometimes it can be refreshing to get back to the basics, to peel back the layers of Star Ware lore and fill in that gap that's been missing for so long. Ugly fighters are one of the most interesting vehicle types of the expanded universe and Jeff has nailed its execution here. It's so simple and yet handles so well, looking sharp. It is a fine addition to the collection and great for any mod that has a pirate or vigilante faction. Fantastic work.
