Since we haven't seen a movie lightsaber duel in 10 years I wonder how it will play out.

Kylo cutting his hand off with the crossguard blade would be nice.

There is a singleplayer mode of some kind, just not exactly a real story mode campaign.

Better stick to actual Star Wars characters, not fanart.

Everything about Kylo screams "NOT badass". He uses an idiotic lightsaber, wears lame scrubs, has a bad looking mask which can't compare to Vader's/Malgus'/Revan's or even generic SWTOR Sith's... Palpatine's FACE looked better. On top of that he's a Vader wannabe. Why would he have a badass voice?

You know that Vader CAN run, it's just that most situations he doesn't need to as he has his goons do the legwork. I'd leave it as-is.

This does not change the fact that running Vader is not movie-accurate.

Vader is too cool to bother running.

"All characters are movie accurate". The first thing you see is a running Vader.

It's sort of realistic, but with coolness factor. You'd have to imagine that this is how saber duels happen when both parties are masters of lightsaber combat, which was hardly the case in any of OT duels. Either way, it's 9531853296073215 times more realistic than Base lightsaber combat.

I watched some EOC sabering videos (didn't check how dated they are), though, and while it's leaps and bounds above Base, I feel like there's way too much unnecessary stuff going on, like sabers bouncing back in a weird way or weird swing animations in general. On top of that, the saber blade swing trail ruins everything (trankfully it's not in all of the videos).

There is an "and" between "inactive" and "7 years".

I too do not find sense in doing this stuff in JKA, besides perhaps the desire to brag about one's achievements that are obtained easier due to smaller community.

Let me just recreate some map in a game nobody plays and brag about making speedrun records in it.

If there is a Starkiller hilt and it's not done as backhand, maybe it should be.

There is an option in the setup menu to turn it off.

When I happen to contribute something I'll make sure it doesn't have DOF.

I believe that hair was made for ESB Luke, it doesn't exactly match his ROTJ hair (which he supposedly kept afterwards).

IMHO there shouldn't be much if any changes to the story. At least personally I don't think I would like re-living the story if I know that it has fanfiction-ish changes applied to it. Perhaps I would like them, but my inner conciousness will reject any changes knowing they're artificial. 

Pretty much any MB2 duel will look more realistic than Base duel. Both from the side and from player's perspective. Why? Because you don't jump around swinging and dodging but instead stay on the ground and actually exchange saber blows with your opponent until mistakes are made. It is great fun.

I never said in Base you swing randomly.

Hopefully you're not a modder. I have some false hope that my last sentence in #104 is yet to be proven wrong.

My bad. Base also involves you spinning your mouse left and right to deal more damage, because that makes so much sense and makes the game so much more fun. I had played it for a month or so but interest ran out and I only sometimes turned the game on. Maybe I still would if there wasn't MB2.

It's confirmed. JKA will never have a better than average mod besides MB2 because the modding community, while capable, apparently already consider JKA to be so great that it barely needs improvement. Or rather, is just brainless.
