JKO in Unreal Engine

1st phase in creating the Valley of the Jedi on Ruusan. We're really looking forward to do some shots with this - we've always wanted to see the Remnant invade the valley...and then Luke and Rogue Squadron chase them off ;)

This makes me feel like we should make a team, ask him to join, make Star Wars on unreal and leave JKA behind.

Do you think JKE with Rend2 can achieve the same thing? Or would the EFX system need overhauling? Or could the current EFX system work if I created the EFX images with my 3ds max afterburner & fumeFX plugins?

Rend2 in it's original form I doubt could mimic even UDK. Still need dynamic shadows for lights for starters. I don't see why the EFX would need overhauling though. If it can't do something we want, we can just animate an MD3 with some decent shader usage.

Rend2 is only available on MP.

 

Hey there! I'm happy to donate our Valley of the Jedi scene in fbx format if that will help? Never tried to put our stuff back into JO/JKA, so I'd be curious to see how you go!
