Yes I would like to see some new models from scratch. But new models are done only by PsykoSith or Scerendo and sometimes by Kualan. And it isn´t too much . I would like to learn how to model from scratch in future but unfortunately because of work on other projects and "real life" I don´t have time . Like most of us.

Can't we have a single topic without arguing about the ports vs 100% self made models for once?I'm sure it's not your intention but it will clearly lead to this argument again. Pretty please? Don't get me wrong, while I totally welcome self made models and respect people who take the time to do so, this game is like 15 years old. Self made models are seldom nowadays due to the lack of modelers, it's understandable. Well done ports are always cool to see and make everyone happy, they just get the job done imo.

Looks like this model only has the Underbite\Knight design, perhaps people will still need to make the other 2 designs from scratch?

To be fair, these guys have a very simple design with few complicated shapes or highly-detailed surfaces that would make them a very suitable first project for a budding new modeller. Texturing it would be a doddle, no complex face rigging required, etc.

Not sure if this model is the one from Facepunch, because if yes it is too high detailed to be ported to JKA. Already checked the Facepunch model from EA BF 2017

There is one more version of that character, which is on Facepunch coming from another game (not Force Arena!!) and it has 40K Verts so both this and EA BF 2017 version are not going to JKA.

No the model is not from Force Arena and is too high detailed for JKA even with Open JK. That is discussed a lot recently, check the WIP pages, there is one SW:TOR kitbash that can work as Praetorian and I already ported him for JKA

Does anyone happen to have the Visual Dictionary to Star Wars:The Last Jedi?

 

If you do and get me some high res scans/photographs of the page(s) that show the praetorians, I may take a stab at modeling them.

 

It's not that easy to get good ref material for their armor atm, if it was I'd probably allready be done with them.

Neat, I'm saving those - last time I checked was like a week after the movie came out.

They Look very cool... and fight with them was AMAZING.. Hope I will see them done from scratch.

The Praetorians also have some interesting weapons. There is a staff, a double-bladed staff that can be seperated and a whip.
