  10. Stop being lazy. Sounds like I need a lecture on that. I'm content to mod slowly even if it takes me years to finish things if necessary, but I do wish I had more time to go a bit faster. I always wanted to try mapping again, but...meh. Too lazy. I think perhaps the answer to your question is just because JKA/JK2 isn't the 'biggest new thing out there'. As time goes by the game becomes more and more obscure - and its less likely younger folks will find it.

  16. Looks beautiful. So I don't get it, you make the body almost perfect (from point of view) in like 1-2 attempts, and yet that damn head still looks funky even after 25+ attempts. I mean...why heads giving you trouble? Still keep up the good work.

  19. What is more surprising to me is the fact that 102 of those slots are full...I've been wanting to test that many for a long time, course they could all be bots.
  20. I assumed you were wanting this in multiplayer; however, if you build it in single-player it might work.

Also focus on being short and concise as possible, for example your first video's introduction has a nearly pointless 20sec intro, you can easily incorporate this in either the credits or overlayed at the beginning while the review is in progress. Keep in mind that most of today's generation is used to really competitive media. Watch any movie trailer as an example of how to quickly get into things without boring the viewer.

  23. I think the primary design problem you have is that an fps is not an rpg. The main reason is there are no 'bosses' with 1000000+ xp (unless we're using mutant rancors or something). So powers that have an effect over time don't really fit in the picture. You want to focus on instant hit powers, that can be countered by other powers, otherwise it won't work and it will be 'cheap'. An example of the sort of balance that the original jka had in it is: rockets. Rockets = explosives that kill you in one hit. Cheap? Definitely. How to fix? Rockets can be force pushed back at user.
