      Ya, I know exactly how you feel. With my laptop, I can't open more than 6 tabs till I run out of RAM. Now, I can open at least 40.

    Finally pulled the trigger, SSD to replace the old spinning drive on the way

      I plan on upgrading to an SSD or m.2 drive in the future. At first I was a bit afraid of them, but now I realize they are much safer places to keep your data than a spinning drive.
