Just finished Escape From Yavin IV (Lost Maps). Besides the fact that the mod must have crashes on me at around 10 points in the game, it was fun, albeit a bit repetitive. There's one problem, though (besides the crashing, duh). One really important texture is flawed or missing. The dirt texture that pops up in the air whenever you walk on a dirty surface. Instead of the small grains of dirt, I see black+white squares everywhere I walk. Anyone know what this texture is called in the assets?

Kualan, you're timing to release your Asajj Ventress models couldn't have been better. I was just debating what I would change the butt-ass ugly Ventress models in Escape From Yavin IV with. This is absolutely perfect.

New Battlefront 2 trailer is out and there's only 4 seconds of prequel content shown and plenty of what we've already seen in the first game. Looking forward to the $50 season pass for half of the game again.

PC gaming advantage: better graphics. Disadvantage: may take hours figuring out how to get the game to fucking work properly.

Ralph Mcquarrie was such a brilliant artist. I'm glad to see his art is starting to to have an even bigger influence on Star Wars.

So I've got a pretty beefy graphics card (GTX 1660) and a decent CPU (i5 7400) and good RAM. I can play a lot of modern games with good FPS but playing JKA on max settings sometimes causes the FPS to drop below 60, with and without Vsync enabled. I've got a lot of mods, some graphics mods like Ultimate Weapons but I've got the same mods for JK2 and I get a perfect framerate. Why is JKA weird?

From what i remember - Older engines purposely put limitations and errors that drop you from game because some things that happen on screen were too much for even computer to handle. It had good but also bad sides like having amazing PC - playing with dynamic glow for example will cause mostly everytime to drop FPS.

Someone could totally make a Krennic model using Hapslash's imperial model. Both his Imperial and Dooku models share the same base model, so the cape shouldn't be a problem.

Someone on Battlefront hacked (I think) my PS4 tag for doing nothing but beating him in the game. What a obnoxious little fuck of a manchild. He even has a history of doing this. I feel like Battlefront is my new JK2 already. New memories being made.

The Assassin Droids in JKA's Coruscant level were too weak. Gave them missile launchers and tripped their health.

The Battlefront Shadowtrooper used to be rare & cool. Now half of all of the imperials I see are Shadowtroopers. :/

The disruptor rifle, a weapon so devastating that it's outlawed nearly all over the galaxy. Perfect for the Jedi Academy to allow all students to use.

The results of the vote would have brought more negatives than benefits no matter what it would be. The UK was in a shitty state from the beginning, it seems. I honestly don't know what was the better position to vote for. Eitherway, It's obvious that the initial results of leaving the EU would be far worse than staying. In the long run, I don't know.

There's been a mod/patch for Republic Commando that's been on Moddb for a bit less than a month. It allows for High quality bump mapping (without your computer crashing) and adds new resolution options all the way up to 4K resolutions. Holy hell, I had no idea how good the game looked with these options.

To anyone who ever play Half Life 2, do you think the Combine Soldiers really look alien-influenced to you? I know they're all humans and that they've gone through internal augmentation, but their armor just doesn't scream "alien" to me at all. The only exception to this IMO is the elite helmet.

Trying Escape From Yavin IV using OpenJK. It's fun, but I'll have to replace the models and skins eventually. Some of the Lightsabers are blegh, a couple models are showing their age really badly (especially Maul) and the voice acting can be hilariously bad at times

The old Factory level is bugged (or at least it was for me), where rosh does not appear later in the level and open up a crucial door to progress. Another one of the levels I was unable to progress on, perhaps I did something wrong, but I looked everywhere for a switch and couldn't find it (it was an outdoor desert valley water level). Other than that, I would certainly agree that the lost levels is far better and has much more content.
