It would be nice to include atleast 1 map in the SP storyline, where you're not even given the possibility of killing anyone. A possible 'force_mindtrick' scene could be made with a trigger activated sound that would at the same time activate a simple A to B path for 2 troopers, you know, the typical " what was that?" - walk walk - " guess it was nothing" ...allowing the player to sneak trough a door. a more simple and interesting, for gameplay, would be stormtroopers patrolling a large area, so you'd have to actually sneak. even more simple; no npc's at all. Just a classic obstacle course kind of map, with force activated doors and elevator shafts to climb.

There was another statue I wanted to use, named something like " statue_sith_bust " But I couldn't find it. I'll keep looking today. EDIT Nevermind I just found the model and it fits the room perfectly. Ofcourse I need to create a pedestal for it.

Hi all, I'm working on a Sith Tomb duel map, and I'm using original Jedi Aademy textures only. I'm posting this here, hoping to get some feedback, positive or negative. It has an entrace that is blocked with huge amount of sand, and 2 other routes on the side, also blocked by sand, and probably rocks. Source of light will be torches. I need some help though; I've created a simple flat floor, but I don't have any ideas on how to texture it. There will probably be some small rocks and piles of sand in the corners.

Changing the original Anakin to Hayden, at the end of ROTJ, is altering the movie itself too much. But while they're at it, they could remake the Ben Kenobi vs. Vader fight with stunt doubles. I never liked that small scene when Obi dies, I liked it less after I saw Luke duelling against Vader at the end of ROTJ ... and I liked it even less after seeing the prequels, it just doesn't add up. "Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you can imagine" - cheesy line but I'd like to keep it. It would just fit the overall saga better if the fight was better choreographed. ok... well I think there's a FFA3 version out already that has these areas fixed. I'm not sure whether it is available anymore, but I'm certain I've played on a server that had the map uploaded.

Yeah I hope you're right @@DT85; It's makes my brain twist around in my head, trying to think of a reason why would the ghost be of the younger Anakin? instead of the older one, as it was originally done. The saga is glorious, sad and touching and blah blah... Anakin was a victim, yes, but replacing the old ghost by saying that Anakin died in EP3 is just too much for me. Like a kid crying about his new haircut being ugly.

I don't want to see Hayden's ghost sitting on a rock somewhere... I'd rather see a Vader hologram, but that doesn't make sense to me.. and it would be cheesy to have one of the young actors visiting the cave in Dagobah - or a similar place - and encounter a fake Vader as a trial of some sort. A flashback in a dream would be logical... Vader was ruthless and affected many lives.. It's stupid that we waited and waited for Vader's return in the prequels, but all we got was a; "Noooooooooo !! " Padmééé !! "

An idea struck me like a lightning from a blue sky; What if Darth Vader never died? - I don't remember talking about it here, but all things concidered, there is a good chance he did survive; While there is no doubt that the ending of the Return of the Jedi was one of the most memorable movie endings before and since. And in the books especially, one can truly understand how much it meant for Luke that he could still feel the good in his Father, that he could save him, but apparently he died in the hangar, before Luke managed to drag him in the ship and escape. But that scene could be interpreted in more than one way. Luke returns to Endor with Vaders body, and builds a funeral pyre for Vader and lits the body on fire, same type of funeral as Qui-Gon had. Or - Luke escapes the Deathstar with Vader still barely alive, and keeps it a secret from his friends, nobody would understand him. Luke only pretends to have a funeral for his father, by burning his suit. This way there would be no doubt that the Emperor was defeated, and nobody, not even Han and Leia would ever question Vaders death. Luke would visit his father secretly for as long as Anakin lived. "For as long as Anaking lived" - leads me to wonder if Anakin could've lived old enough to be in the new trilogy. If anything like this even happened, then my answer would be; yes. Since; Anakin was supposedly born from the force itself, thus making him an exception, it would be foolish to think that he had the same life span as Obi-Wan. He would now be a cyborg.

Best way to do this, in my opinion, is to devide the story into episodes (missions); as @@Kualan has done with the Tales From The Clone Wars -comic. This would mean that you can create each small SinglePlayer map with the help of anyone who happens to be interested and Online, without having a solid team that would make you worry about your Modd whenever someone appears too remote or even offline. Once a map is finished with the bot routes, the music and maybe some trigger activated conversations between stormtroopers, you can release that work as an Episode, that you can continue creating episodes for as long as you have ideas and a few helpers. This way the project can easier be kept alive and it would be interesting to follow the story, as it may change as you go. The Walking Dead game has episodes, and it's awesome.

I gotta say I'm very pleased to see a beard that has been modelled rather than painted to the chin. Beards are always great. Beards state that you're a master. Why didn't anyone ever make a customizable Jedi Master pack with beard styles?? The focus has always been more on how to create impressive outfit reskins. It might be too early, but @@DT85, could you Create a Cin Drallig model by altering this one? There's a good reskin already, but... while you're at it....

LOL battle damaged Anakin. The ball droid is the only TFA model being made already, but the official concept arts reveal enough for some brave, early attempts: The destroyed AT-AT walker that is supposedly a workshop/ home to someone, could already be made accurately enough.Also... the almost Hobbit -like underground hangars could be made, there are plenty of photos taken on site that can be used as references.The ' oh so akward' sith saber could also already be made, so what if it ends up missing a button or 3. When the film finally hits the theaters, any bigger or minor differences can be fixed for a version 2
