  1. Add a filter that automatically darkens the background depending on the time 8)
  2. I like it. What I don't like is that only 50% of the screen is used for text, the rest is background. And the logo doesn't really fit anymore visually
  3. I think the vjun skybox is quite nice. An example for a really good skybox is the one made by sjc for his coruscant maps btw.

  5. SP feels completely different to MP. When you played long enough it seems like day and night.
  6. There are sample maps (.map files) for most games that are supported by GTKRadiant. Does anyone know the license for them, aka what I'm allowed to do with them?

  8. Btw is there something you need to do to have proper strafe jumping in jk2 sp? Or are there differences between the versions? Cause I really got problems to get speed there
  9. I'm mapping for quake live race now which is fun, cause people are actually playing the maps on servers, which never really worked for me in JKA. And if people play custom maps in JK then it's either a personal clan map or stuff like SIth Council, Jedi Council or Jedi's Home so there's not really a demand for new maps.

  12. This is completely wrong, except for the part about ja+. The only reason why people are still playing this game after all these years is the multiplayer. Most people would agree that the singleplayer of Jedi Academy is pretty bad, including the story, the characters and the gameplay. But believe what you want.

    MAX_MENUITEMS is 512 in openJK so you're probably hitting that limit. Do you close a menu when you open a new one btw?

  22. Well, it's not 100% logical since Kyle doesn't have full force powers in that mission. But I agree, I don't really see a good way to implement that into the story.
  23. Question is if it would be possible to implement that into the actual storyline and if yes, when. The intro sequence implies that it actually takes place before the events of JK2.
  24. After playing the JK2 demo, couldn't that be part of the game if it was a bit more polished?
