There isn't enough frankensteining in the JA community in my opinion. I like this idea, along with any other additional custom species ideas.

That would give me a headache. The First Person lightsaber mod is a poor man's version of this, but it doesn't keep the same first person mode. It changes the camera to zoom in up close like in JO's first person lightsaber mode, and makes your model look like Kyle. It's for lightsaber combat but if you keep guns set to third person, they would work the same way. http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/First_Person_Lightsaber_Mod;27567 Not what you're looking for but you might find it interesting.

Like I said, there is one in MBII but it doesn't have a skeleton or animations. That's the least I'm asking for right now. The model is fine.

Removed Dialogue Hints at Removed Features

That would be cool. I hope now that the source is released, people can begin to implement these features back in. -
So I've been going through the dialogue scripts for JA and have been really enjoying seeing the removed dialogue. Some of it is really interesting because they hint at features of missions that were either removed or never implemented due to time constraints. I feel like they were really planning on making the game more puzzling and strategic like JO was, but didn't have time. Here's an example. In the mission on Yalara when you have to destroy the cloaking device, it was meant to be a little more challenging. One can argue this was the easiest and most straight forward level in the game. It look like they were going to add a certain way that would force the player to turn off the cloaking device before destroying it, either with det packs or cutting pipes. This one is even better. On Hoth, it looks like they were going to make the cold, snowy weather actually accurately hazardous and require the player to get inside before he/she froze to death. There are others as well. I think the Hoth mission would have been more challenging if you were actually running for your life to find warmth.

I just figured I would post my request anyways. I know nobody has time to help with requests anymore. It seems like the main issue is the people that are capable of fulfilling requests have too many to fulfill along with their own personal projects. Which is understandable.

For my Prequel Conversion mod, I really want to replace the AT-ST with a "prequel" style enemy tank. I loved in the Episode I video game, the AAT tanks served the same basic purpose as the AT-ST's in JK, even if they were a little more tough. Currently, I have the Hailfire Droid replacing the AT-ST, and it's alright, but I'm not a huge fan of it. I would prefer the AAT to replace it. There is a model of one already from MBII as a map object, but it has no skeleton/animations. My request is one of these: create a new model and add a custom skeleton/animations or use the model from MBII and make custom skeleton/animations for that Also, if there is already one made, I have not been able to find it.

That too. But I compared the rancor sounds to the colo sounds in the movie and they're very similar.

How's this? I also have been coming up with ideas for version 2 of this. The hardest part will be the voiceovers for the main characters like Luke, Kyle, Alora, and Tavion.

Ooo. This is a cool idea. It would be cool if that would happen when switching to the pistol and thermal detonator while your saber is out.

Yeah I remember that one. It looks cool but it's not in the movies, which is the point of this mod. What if I made them that color though? A dark gray/silver.

You could also just use some sounds from the game like the rancor or wampa and manipulate them to make them sound a little different. I'll see what I can do. The rancor sounds are extremely similar to the Colo sounds! If you need some help texturing the teeth, here's a good screencap.

I would have offered to record the sounds, but I'm glad you got them! This is looking great! I think there might be. You can try that but then again it's up to the model itself. That and the scale line.

It doesn't give an error, it just crashes. I won't be much help or be able to use OpenJK anyways, since I have the Mac App Store Version. Alright, so I decided to make a "Snow" Battledroid to replace the Snowtroopers instead of the normal infantry droid. So I just simply made them white, but I want opinions on which one looks better. One is fully white and the other is the usual color markings like the pilot, security, and commander versions, but white. Thoughts?

I just have too many NPC's in my base. An issue that not many other people have. I like to spawn characters and watch them fight.
