  1. We could use my Prequel Music Replacement...
  2. Caelum's thread said it was released early 2007. I guess I'll have to use that. Would a release be considered a non-beta? Or would the first beta be considered the release date?
  3. The problem with these mods is they have dozens of versions and release dates. It's hard to find the first one, original one. I need MBII, JA+, Lugormod, Makermod, JKG, and OpenJK. @@eezstreet? Probably more too. Also, an expert on the KOTF scandal can enlighten me on when that exactly took place.
  4. Yeah, let's try to think of the good things! Positive thoughts!
  5. Since many of you are aware, Jedi Academy turned 10 yesterday. The date snuck up on us and we didn't have anything to celebrate this date with you guys. We're working to post some things and maybe start up a mod project. There's also a new poll already posted as well. I need help with something I'm putting together. It's nothing exciting or anything but I think it will be cool see and reminisce with. What are the major milestones in the Jedi Academy community that are worth noting? Things like release dates, mods, events, etc. Let me know! If you post about a major mod, make sure to include the release date. This is where I need the most help. Thanks guys!
  6. The music is the same as in JK2...
  7. Yeah, I'm using DT's stormtrooper in mine. Asset recreation could just be one part. There could be many parts! Although the more we want to add, the longer it will take.
  8. My mod is pretty close to being done, somewhat. Once I get this Luke pack out, I can get back to it.
  9. They're a Mac developer. The Gold Pack is for Mac. How about Jedi Academy: Fool's Gold Pack?
  10. I'm in! That would be awesome. Although it probably couldn't be called "Gold Pack" because of this. Which I have. I'm actually working on a mod that improves JA in different ways. I've been working on it for a few years actually. Piece by piece. Things like replacing certain models with better looking ones (Luke), more of a variety of NPC models (added Gamorrean, Devaronian, etc.). Stuff like that to make it better and also a little more accurate to the movies.
  11. Why does that make you feel old? I got mine a year after it came out. I played JK2 at a friends house every once in awhile on his GameCube, and then I got it for the original Xbox and played it all the time. I didn't get it for PC until after I got JA.
  12. I've taken over the Latest Files section.

      THE JEDI ARE TAKING OVAH!!!!

  13. This is actually how I got mine too. I saw it was so cheap and got it because it was a Star Wars game. And that's my thing.

This is a reskin of DT85's Luke model to make it look like Luke from Return of the Jedi. This comes with the flap and non-flap version. The textures themselves were made by Graphicsgod from an old JK2 skin that I really liked, so I used them for my base, and reworked them a bit. Turned out alright. It comes with a hilt made by Khaliban. There are 2 files in the ZIP. One is just the skin and saber with full MP support. The other is the skin with MP support and it replaces the default Luke in the game with this one. So if you hate the default Luke model as much as I do, that one's for you. This also comes with brand new sounds taken straight from the official Star Wars sound board. I didn't replace every single one. Most of the grunts and stuff are still the same as the default Luke, but I added a bunch of taunts, gloats, and more from the movies. Also, a high quality lightsaber activate sound to match the hilt to the one in ROTJ. No background noise! I wasn't planning on releasing this on it's own since there's already Toshi's Luke model that's pretty much perfect (save for the hair). It has team and NPC support: npc spawn luke_rotj playermodel luke_rotj saber luke Credits: @DT85 for the model. Toshi for the original head model and skin. Raven for the body model. Graphicsgod for the original textures. Khaliban for the hilt.
  15. A couple of those aren't that bad. The Ratchet and Clank are actually pretty good. The review for Inuyashu made me laugh though. The first line.

Thanks guys! I'm glad to join the ranks!
  17. I was a tad late to the JA scene by a year or so. I miss the old days! My first mod was Rax made to look like Santa Claus using MSPaint. It was atrocious. It's still on JK3Files too!
  18. Okay, I think I'm going to release it separately. I'm going to do what Toshi did and give the option to replace the default Luke model. Okay. I've finished it and it's up! https://jkhub.org/files/file/1700-luke-skywalker-return-of-the-jedi/ Now for the species pack.
  19. Thanks man! I can't decide if I should release that one separately or just incude it with the species pack.
  20. That's awesome! Definitely should be implemented in more mods. Maybe you could make one to replace the JA screen? Nice. Blue mics are pretty good, especially for USB.
  21. *That's no step...that's a wall...* Looks good aside from what Milamber said.
  22. What mic do you have? I was thinking just a regular medical droid. Like I said, I can help out as well if you need variety.
  23. Alright, well I guess I'll release the species pack. I haven't because I feel like I'm missing something...
  24. Not bad. I like it.
  25. I can help with the droid sounds. Possibly a couple others if needed.
