Not gonna lie, I skipped that wall of text and appreciated those last lone 2 sentences.
-
Oh, it's updated now, by the way. Same link above.
-
You just paste the link, rather than using the link button. It does it automatically. Fixed yours.
-
Yeah, I'd say we have most of the models that were on JKFiles. There may be a few left though. http://jkhub.org/files/category/5-player-models/
-
That's quite large. If the skins aren't made by you, be sure you have permission to host such things.
-
This is what I've been wanting in SP since I bought the game.
-
This was just requested a few days ago. http://jkhub.org/topic/3209-darth-malgus-sithari-request/

There are so many mods being shown in that video. Which one? He links to a few in the description. If you refer to the "Force Unleashed cloth sim fix", for some strange reason, he randomly went to explain how to fix that for The Force Unleashed game. Not Jedi Academy.

@@Carbon, you seem to be exaggerating here. MoonDog (and everyone else) was just wanting to know who you talked to at Raven. It's not like everyone here has such connections, at least with Raven employees that are important enough to make such a call. There's no need for people to get so upset and take things as personal attacks. I guarantee that no one here was intending for such a thing.

Oh found it. @@undead_vision If you go to your Library folder (in Finder, hold Option key and click Go), go to Application Support, then Steam. Then, as eez said: Steam/SteamApps/common/jedi academy/gamedata/base That's where the .pk3 files go. The base folder.
-
Right, though I'm not sure where the base folder would be for the Steam version. It may be the "best" way, but it's not the only way. Modding on Mac is fine. The only part of modding that you can't do on Mac is mapping (as far as I know).

How will this be a JK4 if it's not Star Wars related?
-
Well, I don't have the Steam version, but I'm going to assume some things. I'll probably need @@redsaurus's help here though. First, you'll probably need this to join games. Though I'm not sure if it works with the Steam version. https://jkhub.org/files/file/1019-jedi-academy-mp-launcher-for-os-x/ By mod, do you mean play with mods? Or actually makes mods yourself?

I hope this is a bit more condescending than you meant it to sound.

It's more of a coding issue. When gripping, after the NPC dies from Grip, it plays the normal death animations, despite still being gripping in the air. It should recognize that the model is still being gripped, and the body should just go limp. So really, one could just change the code so when the gripped enemy is dead, to not play any animation and let the body turn into a rag doll body.

You'll need a map and know how to make scripts as well. That's the hard part. As far as the other things go: NPC Tutorial: [sharedmedia=tutorials:tutorials:146] Skinning: [sharedmedia=tutorials:tutorials:79] Saber modeling: [sharedmedia=tutorials:tutorials:43] [sharedmedia=tutorials:tutorials:39]

Jedi Knight Galaxies releases assets
Circa replied to eezstreet's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
Me too, so I added one. :hammer: -
Getting a new mouse is wonderful. After man-handling something for so long, it gets gross, and a brand new one is great. And they aren't all that expensive. Don't you dare take my post the wrong way. I have the powah to destroy any post that does so.
