  1. Something like on COD, like this?
  2. Just use Dropbox or Google Drive.
  3. Any tints that are on the model are because of lighting in a certain scene. Otherwise he looks the same, but more like a cartoon.
  4. You can add a non-Steam game by going to + Add Game at the bottom left under the list of games, and then going to Add non-Steam Game. Then just browse to the openjk.x86.exe. Once it's added, right click the newly created game and go to Properties, then go to Set Launch Options and enter +set fs_game "japlus" in the box. Now it should launch automatically with JA+.

  6. Yeah, I figured it would be run warmer. Probably why it appears that his voice is slightly lowered, but just given a nice warm and thick sound to sound like a deep voice. Send me what you come up with, I'm curious what you have.

Well, that made the game launch. I loaded a local game fine. But joining servers results in a crash. First server I joined is just running OpenJK/base and gave me this: But then I try joining the JAWA server (running JA++ I believe) and get a crash and this: And then this is at the end of the crashlog, after all the pk3s are listed:
  8. I think his voice just filtered with a low pass and high pass. Could be lowered a bit too, but I'm not sure.
  9. Always good to have more audio guys. Welcome!

    It's not inside an app. The OpenJK.app is in /Users/me/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.jediacademy.appstore/Data/Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy/

Well it's looking for a libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib file, but it doesn't exist. And its looking fairly deep in my system for it. Library not loaded: /usr/local/opt/sdl2/lib/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib Referenced from: /Users/USER/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.jediacademy.appstore/*/openjk.x86_64.app/Contents/MacOS/openjk.x86_64 Reason: image not found I tried locating it manually, and I get stopped at the local folder. The opt folder doesn't exist.

Still crashes. Should I try with the updated SDL?
  14. OpenJK is not an official patch. So you'll have to download and install it manually. Once you do that, you'll have to use that to launch the game. The only way to launch it with Steam is to add it as a non-Steam game.
  15. Are you using the Steam version of the game? Read this tutorial: http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/8-installing-a-mod/
  16. I think the Ben Kenobi from MBII is great though.
  17. Says who? DT will publicly release it. It'll just be featured in the mod.
  18. I recommend relying on the least amount of mods as possible when you're starting out, if you're wanting to learn how to play the game. If you saw a guide that gives a bunch of stuff to download, I'd avoid it. Guides to learn the game would be great, however, there's really not much you can learn by reading or watching videos. The best way to learn is by playing a lot and practicing. Make some friends that know what they're doing. A good way to learn is to have people teach you some basics and help you practice at getting good. Maybe even join a clan and attend classes that some clans provide. To answer your question about mods though: OpenJK isn't a mod, it's a patched version of the game, created by people in the JKA community. The game is open source, which means we have access to the code that makes up the game. This has led to the OpenJK project that aims to fix the game where needed. It's recommended to use, but not required by any means. It won't help you or add anything that you need to the game. Just fixes various things. JA+ (or JA++) is the most popular mod that a lot of servers use. There's a lot of controversy and split between the JA+ community and the base/vanilla community, due to the environment that most JA+ servers create. They are generally focused a lot on chatting and social atmospheres, whereas the base community is usually focused on playing. JA+ also adds a lot of features, which is a big reason people use it. It adds RGB sabers, grapple hook, emotes, etc. I recommend staying away from JA+, but that's my personal opinion. You can still play on JA+ servers without it if you want.
  19. We have good versions of Luke, except for EP4, so that would be awesome. We have a great Ki-Adi Mundi made by @@Psyk0Sith We have all versions of Leia I believe. Nien Nunb is too minor for me to even consider it, but maybe eventually. My vote would be for Han Solo, but @@DT85 already started one and says he plans on finishing it. So if thats true, I vote for Obi-Wan EP 1 & 2. We have an EP4 Obi-Wan already. Poe Dameron would be nice too though!
  20. The alpha channel for Luke's hair should have been enabled.
  21. Those stormtroopers need shaders! All these look really good. Nice work.
  22. Post your pk3 so we can take a look.
  23. I'll have to take a look sometime! Looks cool.
  24. Looks good. Now I really want a really good Rey model to go with it.
  25. I can launch MP directly with JKJALaunch with the app store version. Always have been, I believe. Pretty sure that was my main request to you red, when the app store version came out.
