    :as I really liked my dragon lord saberhilt I couldn't withstand making a fitting playermodel to go with it ;D so here comes the Dragon Lord himself and as you know me ,he comes with everything you want : -npc support -bot support -team support -a fitting saberhilt
  3. so you're messing with the SV_SpawnServer related error ? if vso did you find out what exactly causes it ? I currently get the error with one of my models , but another model with a higher vert count doesnt get it which is pretty confusing to me because so far I thought it was the vert count causing this

    I felt like making a new saberhilt , been a while sicne I made the last one o.o , and this is what I came up with : the "Dragon Lord" twin-blade saberhilt ! this was something I had in mind for a long time I allways wanted to make a great looking saberhilt with a dragonhead-shaped emitter and I allways wanted to remakeo ne of my first saberhilts , the twinblade hilt for this particular hilt I ended up combining both ideas so I hope you like it and have fun ;D
  10. Scaling is up to you , you can easily chang eit through the NPC file later I'd say it should be 4 or 5 times as big as the player will export the model for you tomorrow or later tonight
  11. I got max 5 , but I cant carry my rig from max 10 to max 5 as there is no backwards compatibility

I'm currently trieing to get XSI mod tool to work , I ported my 3ds max scene via crosswalk to XSI but carcass refuses to accpet .xsi files exported from modtool , I'll have to ind a solution for this before I go on with working at this @@OmegaSigma I can give you a unanimated pre alpha so you can start working at the map again

  14. I dont really feel like remodeling this , I'd rather use graphite to retopo the problem areas mainly because I allready started texturing U-.-

I cant see anything that's obviously wrong but I had to add 2 objects one named l_hand and the other r_hand to my minecraft modle to get the saberblades to show up so try renaming lefthand to l_hand and righthand to r_hand , then see wether this fixes it or not and 5800 may be enough to trigger the error message but I dont know
  17. you got an issue with your topology mate , had the saber problem with my old Minecraft character model lemme see your hierarchy and i'll try to remember how I fixed it back then about the heapsize.... I think it had something to do with too many "high" poly models being loaded at the same time but I'm not sure oh and by the way , this :

  22. well I could probably record a video tutorial on how to get player models weighted and ingame with max 6/7 maybe I'll just weight urai and record that , with some explanations here and there but as ancient max versions are rare these days I doubt it'll be that useful

    Hello JKHUB ! this is the first finished model of my additions to Jedi Academys default Merc Model I bring you - a Devaronian Mercenary - you might know these guys from SW:TOR. I got a few more additions to the merc model in progress but those will stay Jedi Knight Jedi Betrayal exclusive , atleast for the moment FEATURES : -3 skin Variations -default -red and blue teamskins -NPC support -to spawn these in singleplayer enter cheatmode by typing "helpusobi 1" in the console then type "npc spawn x" instead of x use either : - dev_merc ~ Default Devaronian merc - dev_merc1 ~ Blue Devaronian merc - dev_merc2 ~ Red Devaronian merc -Bot Support -just look up "Devaronian" in the botslist in MP BUGS : the usual deformation issues , might be worse with this model than with my others though, this was a very quick rig
