Currently working on :

Bedrooms : Zeo's WIP
Npc Vehicle Valkyrie : Kahzmat's WIP
Optimisation : Comes last


First of all, my english is bad, sorry!

Title : Heavy Frigate Aulum T-5 (say it Awloom in french xD)
Length : about 400m

New textures : Yes (mostly from Kamino and Fearis)

New models : Yes! (Players models)
NPCs : Yep!
Vehicles: Yes! (V-Wing, shuttles, cannons and turrets)
New sounds : Yes!
Custom Skybox : YEAH!

Rooms :

- Main Deck
- Corridors
- 2 Flight Decks
- Depressurisation SAS
- The Rise! (Bar with kitchen, kind of restaurant but cooler, you see. xD)
- 2 cannons Decks
- Prison
- Armory
- Corridors...
- Corridors <_<.
- Meeting room
- Jumping training room
- Blaster practice (with movable parts and respawing targets!)
- Big area so you can fly around the ship! :D
- Real-time blaster simulation
- A ship !
- A shuttle ! (Unmovable)


The Aulum come along with Kahzmat's personal skin and soldiers/engineers/officers, reskins of basic JK soldiers with custom sounds
More to come, stay tuned! :D

We "may" release a test BSP so it will be easier for you to spot any bug and eventually suggest us new things :D

The map looks great! But some places doesnt catch with style with the others i think but it doesnt ruins anything :) Great work!

Well, we tried to match textures so the whole map is quite coherent, but there is different levels
the Awloom (Aulum !) is mostly designed to travel rich people and/ or prisonners and defend them against everything thats bigger than a normal pirate ship

Heres why there is different levels :
From hangars corridors to the bar it's the guest place
From hangars up to the command deck it's the main trooper place (Awloom has got a little army to protect from sabotage)
From the corridor that link the command deck to the hangars, there's the training area and the "senate" (meeting room, the one with the holo-awloom) that is darker, forbidden to guests you see.

I hope this explanation is good ^^

The map looks rly epic. For real this one of the best ship map i have ever seen. The white wall places are rly awesome! I hope for new stuff

In post #8, your first picture shows blue floor lights. Does the player get stuck on those?

No, there is no collision problems. I will retry but I remember that we hadn't this problem.

 

If there is, do not worry, we'll clip a floor.

Editor view, no textures at all for now (pink thing it's Caulk, System texture, too long to explain ^^, green is.. green)

1040 brushs for now, cockpit incoming!

There a lot of details on the hull, i cant be so accurate with GTK, but i'll add some :)

 

EDIT : Kahzmat's one is really cool, working and all, just need to be added on the map (screenies tommorow ._. )

Last update of the training ground, need some small fixes and refinements but ready to be implemented.

This  is a kind of an obstacle course.
There is 3 options... (Do not worry, I'll indicate them with a tex.)
1 - Stormtroopers
2 - Rebels
3 - Turret

You can  accumulate these options.
7 combinations.

When you activate the turret, a forcefield will obstruct the elevator, preventing you from running away.
As long as the turret is alive, you would not be able to flee.

You will be able to train yourself into moving accuracy, grenade throwing, sense of balance, dodging etc...

Then, there is a reinitialisation button which will reboot every targets.

Main hull done, reworked alot of things to make the ship smoother, interior is done, texturing now :D
1244 brushs for now!

I want to specify something about our map.

We have somes "signs" in the map and some vocal announces (by the ship's AI).

It will be for the basic .pk3, entirely in French, textures, announces, warnings...

BUT, I will make a patch which will replace, textures and sound by their english version. A kind of patch.
And, later, with more work, I'll try to translate it in Spanish, German and Russian.

Like : 

AulumT5.pk3
AulumT5-EnglishPatch.pk3
AulumT5-SpanishPatch.pk3
etc...

SO, don't worry if you see some text that you are unable to read on the screenshots :).

This is one of my favorite projects. What's not to love? There's space, big spaceships, small spaceships, it's a great idea!
