YesImSev
Is there a way where I could add a Silver/White saber color mod without replacing the default colors? If so, could you perhaps help me with it? Link to comment
AshuraDX
should be possible since the sourcecode was released but I have no clue how one would do thathere's a shout out to someone who might know@@eezstreet Link to comment
eezstreet
Always been possible. [Hint: JA++ does it, go check out the source code for the client] Link to comment
Tempust85
I'd love to see saber colors picked from a color box (I think I saw this in a mod somewhere, could be MB2 for all I know) incorporated into OpenJK at some point. Heck I'd code if I knew how, but seeing as I can't even add IQM to OpenJK or MD3 to Modview I suck lol. Link to comment
minilogoguy18
RGB sabers have been in mods for years and years, with that you can have any color you want. eezstreet likes this Link to comment
Stoiss
OJP Source code is also a hit to find the saber color code Link to comment
katanamaru
He may be talking about sp. Link to comment
Stoiss
should be possible to port that over to sp Link to comment
YesImSev
I'm on a Mac (yes lol mac, but it's all I got right now) and RGB sabers won't work. That said is there I way where I can get it in singleplayer where I all I need to do is "Sabercolor 1 Silver" or something? Link to comment

That said is there I way where I can get it in singleplayer where I all I need to do is "Sabercolor 1 Silver" or something? It should still work on Mac. http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/;117150 Oh nevermind. It uses a custom .exe file to run it. What version of JA do you have? Steam, Mac App Store, or retail? Link to comment

Circa
Steam version. I try to open the RGB exe with Wine, but idk how to change the path or w/e.Yeah that's what I tried to do. I'll keep messing with it. Link to comment
eezstreet
The code in SP and in MP for colors is identical.Do a search for "purple", that's the easiest way to find all code related to it. ("orange" is also good) Stoiss and katanamaru like this Link to comment
redsaurus
There's no way that particular mod will work with the mac version of JA, but it wouldn't be too hard to add the colours as said before. JA++ would probably be a better place to look than OJP as the OJP code isn't GPL. Circa and eezstreet like this Link to comment
minilogoguy18
The simplest way to get a custom color is to over write one of the existing colors, just extract the image files used by one of the colors say orange for example and make it white and that's it. Link to comment
eezstreet
He doesn't want to replace the default colors though. Link to comment
