The 'Chaser', YT-1300 Request.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone's both capable and willing to make me a flyable version of this ship, or at the very least, a spawnable one for Rp use. 

 

I've never made a vehicle request and don't know exactly what goes into making them, this being a freighter I'd imagine might be somewhat difficult compared to the occasional Actis Jedi Interceptor but if anyone's up for a challenge, I would be most appreciative.

 

 

Again, not sure how realistic this request is though I thought where better than to try my luck than the Hub. If anything, I'd welcome a discussion if anyone has any idea's for others who might be willing, or something I can pass on as some form of advise should I find someone.

 

It's not urgent but the sooner, the less ancticipation there is killin' me.

Due to the lack of interest I'm scrapping the YT-1300 request and Replacing it with another unless someone decides to bite simply for the challenge. I've always loved the Falcon but I'm a man who likes to be slightly more original, only slightly. If not for the Chaser, it was suggested to me by a fellow clan member some time ago that I should look into the YT-2400, I did and fell in love with it, so there's my request update, if not the Chaser, is anyone capable of making a spawn-able version of the 2400. The Interior's easy enough, I can just use the Falcon interior map that's out there, it's a similar layout really, not difficult to ignore for Roleplaying purposes.

I have 2 outrider models, 1 I put in game that isn't so accurate nor does it work well since I tried to set it up so that the turrets could be controlled by other players since it's in the games code but doesn't work very well. The other is a newer model that was going to be for SW Battlefront 2 but never made it very far, only the basic mesh is done, no UV's or textures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Find someone to make some textures for the 2nd one and I'll throw it in game, the other one doesn't work right in game and I don't have the pk3, I do have the source files to rebuild the pk3 though.

I'll track down someone to do those Textures if I can. I do have someone in mind who's excellent at it, it's just whether I can bribe him into doing it xD

I have nor HAD no interest in finishing it just because the flight in JA is terrible (that's why I mod SWBF2 for that aspect), I just told him if he found someone to texture it I'd throw it in game which he never did.

Gotcha. Well, if it matters, I'm interested in seeing it personally. I don't really mind the flight in JA.

Arg, it is a shame this project came to a dead stop. Those were all fantastic ship ideas and the progress on the outrider was truly magnificent.

I understand, Circa. No one should rush these things. I'm just as eager as you are to see this completed, but as jcapman1984 said, RL is most important.

Riiight, so I've been away a pretty decent length of time, RL responsibilities and all. Given that along with minilogoguy apparent tough times, I've cut loose the want for the Chaser, though I'd love to see it in game still, don't get me wrong, I've found a better replacement for what I'm after. The VCX-820 Escort Freighter.

Sadly, I can't see it happening but I'm remaining hopeful. On other terms, sorry this thread has been effectively killed, I'm proud to be back in the game and want to thank Minilogoguy for his intent to try to help me with the Chaser, was very cool of you bro.

Ugh, KDR, you are so good at finding great ships that should have new life in Jedi Academy, I want them all but those that can create so well are so busy these days, lol. I'm still investing all my hope that the T3-M4 will get made.

Yeah I'm aware many are under the spell that is life and it's head aching ways so I've expressed my wish to drop the request but should anyone feel they have the time and motivation then by all means. As far as I'm concerned, the status of this request is a closed deal unless others express their desire to see it an on-going thing and the admin team agrees.
