  1. I still have a lot of work to do to sort out fixing the vertex normals and UVs and getting the changes in vertex positions during an animation. Currently it is only exporting a static object.
  2. @@ChalklYne -- No need to reinstall XSI ModTool. It will be compiled as a plugin for Softimage 2011, 2012, and 2015 (at least). Meshes do not have to be merged as one. You can have up to 32 different surfaces (i.e., mesh objects) in an MD3. Only one texture per mesh object. For multiple textures, on a single mesh object, you'll have to split mesh to abide by the one-per-mesh rule. LODs are exported automatically to separate LOD files. You simply append "_1" or "_2" to the names of the respective LOD objects. So all meshes (and LOD meshes) can be in a single scene. LODs will definitely help your performance. The MD3 format supports 3 levels of detail (LOD0, LOD1, LOD2... although MD3View shows them as 1,2,3). Tags are supported. All you have to do is name the tag object the full tag name (e.g. tag_driver, tag_flash, etc.) @@minilogoguy18 has created a script to create a tag.

This doesn't bode well for the Star Wars galaxy-- without the Force and Jedi this would not be a great sci-fi universe... and goes against Yoda's dying directive-- "...pass on what you have learned..." Not to mention this would undo the very "Balance" Rey just mentions. Stupid line-- the writer should be flogged. Maybe Luke is foretelling his death? If so, cheesy...

  7. If trueview is planned, then you'll need most of the entire character, no? Edit: Why not use the full .GLM model with a .srf file to turn off certain parts of mesh?

  11. The legacy GLA bone jitter can now be eliminiated by recompiling the XSI animations with Carcass v2.2.

  16. @@SomaZ - no worries... I think you misinterpret some of what I say... By what I said above-- I'm not suggesting to you that you should incorporate AA to make it better... I know that you already know that. I'm just making a statement that "ah, it will look even better when AA is incorporated" ...stating the obvious-- as we say in English. Keep up the great work.

  19. when I zoom in on the aayla player... her silohuette looks aliased, and the shadowing looks aliased/pixelated/fuzzy.
  20. I have this skeleton model that came with my Poser software... I could put it in the JKA root pose and save it out as an OBJ or FBX and send it to whomever wants to weight it to the JKA skeleton.
  21. the pelvis on the skeleton is awful... the rest not much better.
  22. ...meh, if they wade out too far, just have them eaten by saltwater crocodiles or sharks-- that'll teach `em to go venturing out to the edges.
