  1. You know you have somewhat of a point though CryEngine3 is starting to get a little old, I know they are working on new stuff and wouldn't be surprised if they start hinting at CryEngine4 next year.
  2. check your jaspconfig.cfg, if its turned off there it'll reset everytime

  4. What is it...? A wall? But holy ridiculous cow! I do not have the patience for trying to do something like that in Radiant. Also scratch what I said about the color it's fine, it just needs to explode MUCH bigger. It was being overwhelmed by base jka fire effect I think.
  5. Do you have anything for us to look at for YOUR map? eg: Shader files, screenshots, something? Hard to kind of just guess what you did wrong.
  6. Go back to this: And those eyes, change those eyes! Actually the model doesn't look too bad, for an original different character, but if you're trying to make StarKiller you need to backup a few steps and redo the texturing/eyes.
  7. If that still doesn't work you can always try making a bat file that says: jasp.exe + g_saberMoreRealistic 1
  8. Also note: This can be really bad for people trying to look at the forums with small bandwidth/slow internet as they have to scroll pass giant sized pictures and wait for them all to load.

  10. Still prefers a PC, because both the PS4 and X-BoxOne will be outdated in about 3 months. Plus on top of that, as far as I know I can't run visual studios, photoshop, or JKG on an x-box, or PS4.

  14. Nice, I like the force grip effect, that is some awesomeness. I'd suggest you make the explosion effect more green radioactive looking though.

  19. By the way @@Heisenberg I do like what you guys are doing at the site from what I've seen so far. I just wanted to give you an update as far as JKGalaxies as I believe we are progressing along nicely and would probably have a sufficiently complete build for you by next September at the latest, hopefully much earlier say June/Julyish. I'll send you an email with details when we get to that point as I'd love to have a JKG tournament hosted. The game is really team-based at the moment so it might be a little different from how you have your current tournament set up, but I think it'd be lots of fun to try. Anyway thanks for your time, and good job on the tournament!

  21. Bump! By the way we also need more programmers now, or if you can't contribute full-time as a developer you can still help out in small increments as we are now open-source. Basic specifications that are good for our programmers to have: -JK3/JK2/Quake3 Source Code Familarity -Moderate Understanding of C/C++ -LUA Programmers/Scripters (I have no idea how to do this, but if you do you should totally help!) -QT C++ Application Experience If you've got 1, or all of those things, please apply! We need your help to make JKGalaxies more awesome than ever! Modeling (update) As mentioned before we need environment modellers still; however, I failed to mention in detail we also need character modellers. We need people who can make awesome looking humanoids (rodians, humans, twileks, zabrack, etc..) And we will want to also begin replacing all base assets so if you've always wanted to make your own Jawa we'd love to have you do it. You do not necessarily have to join the team to contribute, we will accept models of sufficient quality if you wish to allow us to use them in the mod. (Keep in mind they must be completely original, as we aim to go stand-alone, that means no raven assets at all).
