  1. Just go see the movie bro. It is pretty amazing!
  2. I've only had the chance to play this a handful of times but I've had a blast. Sure, game modes like Hero Hunt and others are just plain broken, but the main "Walker Assault" and the split-screen "Battles" are just really quick and fun. The game really works when playing with a friend. I don't play console a whole bunch, but I picked this game up VERY quickly. I love the graphics, sound design, and quick gameplay. Is it a bit shallow? Yep. Are some of the heroes really borked? Yup. Does it generally lack depth, especially for SP? Heck yes! But I think the game is a very fast-paced game that can be a whole lot of fun.
  3. Good sir! You are mistaken! But that's the gist of it.
  4. I have that comic! It's called Star Wars: Visionaries. It was the concept of a comic artist that had the opportunity to build a story around it. However, I highly doubt it was considered canon even back then!
  5. Interesting. I've never heard of this before. All the classic tutorials just mention using the navgoal. If this works, it could be quite awesome. But it seems like there are still some problems...I'll poke an SP map sometime.
  6. Hmmm. Here's something I've tried in the past: Preform a couple of simple tests where you vary the distance from the NPC to the waypoint. Start really close and then move it farther and farther back. I haven't found a good solution to this problem, but at the very least you can create a crude trail of navgoals that can do the same job.
  7. I understand your frustration! It can be so so annoying! This has happened to me so many times. Try setting the behavior state to CINEMATIC...
  8. @@Onysfx: I have a lot of my Star Wars fan sites blocked at the moment, I haven't seen the latest trailer, and I plan on just staying off the internet around the 17th. The spoilers will be stopped!
  9. Looks like we've got it all, folks! Thanks for your insane amount of generosity and kindness. You all seriously rock!
  10. Got tickets for 7PM on the 17th...and I get to see it with a lot of my friends I haven't spent much time with since college. This is going to be amazing.
  11. Hi! Out of curiosity, are you building new maps or putting the NPCs on already created maps?
  12. I don't think that's how cancer works but glad that breakthroughs have been made!
  13. The bots jump because there is no routing data. They cannot just wander the area since they have no idea of the map's geography. However, when they just jump randomly, they are moving randomly through space. Bot route would correct this. At least that's my understanding. A script can't really do what you are asking unfortunately. MP scripts, in my experience, do not have the same power of SP ones. I don't think the runscript command even works, so I don't think you could even implement said script if it was written. You can add a hotkey to keep spawning the same NPC but I think that is all you can do without map editing, like @@Asgarath83 suggests.
  14. I'm sorry man, but KOTF is set up in a very strange way so I wouldn't know what to do. Good luck!
  15. Just received a slew of an incredibly generous donations. You guys rock!
  16. Well I'm sorry that that has been happening. The old EU a lush branch of the Star Wars story that should be respected and enjoyed. I don't see why anyone should dislike you for that. As much as I would love some closure to some of the EU's stories, it is a tad unpractical for Disney to produce 2 timelines simultaneously. However, it could be treated more like the comic book genre where "what-ifs" and alternate timelines are common occurrences.
  17. The old EU was great, but its hardly gone. It's not part of the canon, but its still there and the material is still great. Yes it was an incredible collection of work that I enjoyed and thousands of others enjoyed, but I'm so excited for a new Star Wars saga, one that will reinvigorate the fans and tell new stories that weren't possible before. A new generation of Star Wars will be created and it will be centered around the new vision for TFA.

    Donation Time!

We gotta keep the lights on Hello everyone! We're hoping that you are enjoying JKHub: both as a resource that hosts over 2,184 files (which have been downloaded a collective 432,543 times) and as an active place to discuss this game that we all love and cherish (over 2,021 members discuss their thoughts in a collective 85,796 posts!). This year, JKHub turned three years old (aren't we so cute)! That's three years of modding, gaming, and discussion all facilitated by our site. Additionally, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy turned 12 this year (yeah we forgot to sing happy birthday) and we envision many more years of a strong community dedicated to keeping the fun and excitement of this timeless game alive! We do this through our many services, like tutorials, our wiki, and our JKHub network. How do we pay for all of these fancy gadgets? First off, let's talk about what we don't do. JKHub does not run ads. We want to keep the experience at JKHub as clean and as uninterrupted for you guys as possible. But when we say no to advertisers, we have to find other ways to make money. This is where your generous donations come in. Financial breakdown Here is a full breakdown of all the money JKHub will need for this period:XenForo license: $200. That's the forum software we hope to upgrade to this next year.Hosting: $140. We rely on Caelum's hosting plan to provide reliable and affordable hosting for a site of our size and traffic.Dropbox: $99. We need to dish out the dough in order to keep our files online through the Dropbox online storage system.XF mods: $70. There are a couple custom things we'd like to do in the future. This is where that kicks in!Domain: $10. This makes sure everyone knows where we are: JKHub.orgToo many numbers; didn't read: That all comes up to around $519. We currently have $190 in our savings, thanks to the generous donations of our members (shout out to @Nozyspy). That means we need about $330 more to survive the next year. By the way: that's $50 less than last year! We try to keep these costs down so the burden gets lighter every year. If we don't get the donations, we may have to start cutting some of our services or look for *big gulp* advertisers to help pay our bills. We don't want to, but that really is our only option as a non-profit site. We have received $347.65 worth of donations so far (out of our $330 campaign). 105%105% So...please donate! The button below will take you to our donation FAQ page, which is also where you can donate. Again, we try to handle donations as transparently as possible, so if you have any further questions, please post below or PM any one of the staff members. Thanks for your time and consideration, and we appreciate your membership and interest in JKHub! In other news Our editor @Cerez is stepping down. We thank Cerez for serving with us, and please join us in wishing Cerez well! Click here to view the article
