  1. Yeah, I must have the latest. ATI's website and their software says I have the latest when I've tried to update (however Mudbox has prompted me to update my drivers, so it's kind of weird).

That generally means you have the latest your card can use, but there is newer.  :)

And ATI/AMD knows this, but third party software may not.

  2. A version that contains debugging symbols useful for detecting why crashes happen etc, but contains no optimizations and file sizes are much larger.

You should probably head over to the IRC channel and ask for some assistance getting a "debug" version.  I'm not going to be available for most of the rest of the day.

  3. You haven't provided ANY information.

Chances are for SP at least, you didn't install it correctly as such the newer jagamex86.dll must be in base (Copied from OpenJK mod folder if it isn't already) or load with +set fs_game OpenJK

  4. Well the number changes when there's changes to the import/export tables in the renderer so if rend2 is too new for which openjk mp you are using it can also cause that too.  Changing the SP config won't affect MP.

  5. I thought the whole point of playing kyle/jaden was that you weren't entirely focused on saber play.  Even if I do play it that way sometimes, its still somewhat silly to say well Canon in movies so must be canon here too.

My biggest thing with weapons is that going against jedi enemies in Academy they become all but useless since they have 99% perfect ability to push everything/most things or dodge snipers.  Not sure if fixing this is a good thing but I guess you'd have to compensate elsewhere to keep balance of hardness.

  6. You are on windows xp so ignore anything about Virtual Store folder.

sorry mate, didn't know that. Also what are the chances of GTK Radiant 1.6 working if I continue to get a C++ error for GTK Radiant 1.5?

Probably just fine 1.6 is based on 1.4 not 1.5.  (1.6 IS compatible with XP, I hope you've tried it since the initial switch to VS2012 compiles) -- No offense, but upgrade jeez.

What is the exact error. Saying C++ error is a little too generic to even understand what the error is.  You probably don't have the necessary runtime installed from Microsoft is all.

  7. While setting fs_homepath to "." works okay, it is more preferable to set it to be identical to what fs_basepath is.

And there should be no trailing slashes.

If Program Files is not writable (ie on Vista and newer) you will still need to run the game as admin / or give the folder full access.  (Which is part of the point for having homepath in the first place)

  8. I think just add cvars to tweak some parameters. I liked being able to do that in QtZ for glow + bloom.

This, but I think the defaults should be as close to vanilla looking as possible.

  9. Yup I know, but alt+tab pales in comparison to something like Q3E which is instant and moves it out the way, truly minimized off the screen until you hit the keyboard shortcut to go back.

The only difference is that it hides the window in Q3E really. SW_HIDE vs SW_MINIMIZE.  Adding actual tray support for a game binary seems kind of silly to add.

  10. 1. Need to type full command instead just few letters sometimes (why can't this be toggleable with a cvar or something?)

Because its not compatible with the rewritten code.  Use tab to complete it like a big boy.  JK series is THE ONLY tech3 game(s) that has allowed <enter> to do so (and even then it only worked when you were in a server).

The pros of the changes far outweigh the laziness of allowing enter to work and complete the command.  Sorry but its not returning.
