Interesting...so you HAVE to be connected to the internet to play games? Sounds like the X-Box one to me....big brother....sorry steam, but no thanks .
I believe you, but all my looking into with Skyrim offline shows it to be a hassle. Have to make sure that steam is set to offline and stored on the machine (or such) or else it doesn't work. My plan is/was to go to my parents or friends to get games and then go offline at home.
