  1. Oh, I almost forgot about this one, Somehow I considered the standalone as the least of all Star Wars worries Nevertheless the news were coming here and there. I also remember reading a rumour about the actress from the Girl with a dragon tattoo. Saw her in a few movies, but never recognized as such. This film however is what the SW community has been longing for a long time ago. I remember playing Dark Forces II, when I discussed the possibility of a new Star Wars movie with actors, but about Luke or Leia, for the first time. I wonder, which period does this one covers.
  2. You know, it's not such a bad idea, that Lando is not in Episode VII. Remember, he was not in Episode IV, but appeared in later episodes. And played nicely. I also believe, that it's not good to bring all the characters at once. This was not the case with Indiana Jones, where I missed Sallah, but I think, that as a new trilogy is coming up, so there is plenty of space for him to come back. The more sad news was a year ago, when Denis Lawson said, he wouldn't like to return as Wedge Antilles. This is not the first case, when an actor says a thing like that, but they change their mind with the release of a film and prepare themselves to be in the story again. Caroline Blakiston also longed for returning as Mon Mothma in new episodes. She hoped to play Mothma's grandmother in Episodes II or III, but never received a response. Sh could have played Mon Mothma in Episode VII, but her character is most likely not to appear at all in this story. We can be sure, that Lando's pal Nien Numb is most likely to re-appear in Episode VII, as it was stated prior in the rumours.
  3. I think Bastila is the ported model from KOTOR, even though the skin is new. Such models aren't a usual thin here. I also have lots of mods and models, maps and other stuff on my HDD, but I am not in the mood of uploading them, besides from time to time other people re-release them here on JKHub.
  4. @Lord Spook The texture can be also 256x1024 or 512x256 - in power of two. I agree with @zeƒilus - if you are using a shader, check it as well.
  5. An old interview from 1980 about Star Wars and its possible prequels mentioning.

yeah, I've been looking at these old interviews myself. Once I saw another video u posted, months ago, of Hamil talkin about Luke supposedly finding an 'excalibur'

The original trilogy is just awesome, and the extra material, art work and deleted scenes... a treasure! :)

True, it's fascinating. :) That's why we all love SW I think. Because of all the stunning things it offers and has offered as one of the first!

  6. Over years I came to idea, that the simplier apparel is, the more stylish and good looking is the character. And this is the case.
  7. I always liked this particular room in Dark Forces II. Maybe because it differed from most of other levels. Nar Shaddaa was more like dark city with graffiti. And Barons Hed is grey with no particular decorations, only scared citizens running around. Even after Jerec's Palace most locations are quite simplistic in their appearance. The golden doors often puzzled me, whether they were indeed the doors, or like in Egypt - just imitations of them. Surely one door led to other halls and corridors of the Palace. Well, that's what we assumed for our project, when we made Barons Hed.
  8. This model is sooo good, that's it's hard to believe, it's not an actual port from a different game. but we all know it is not, so this is twice as amazing. Not only it's a completely new model made from scratch, but it's also very beautiful and looks very much to the original character. Darth Malgus is another reason, why JO/JA is indeed a marvelous game in Star Wars. I can only name a few mods for other games in Star Was, which bring so many things together to one universe.
  9. I have no longer JO installed, though at one point I enjoyed it much better. Too bad the game says, one blaster md3 is missing, so I can't start the mission.
  10. I was once Yoda (sounds good by the way). With Season 1 over, I can't see info on Season 2, The last thing I hear, the premiere will be shown at Anaheim celebration. And that a large part of voicing for the show is complete or so... So when will it be available? Wookiepedia remained silent on this for a while. September-October then?
  11. Need help: in creating one small, but important md3 to be featured in DP Chapter I. Human face involved.

I know what you require, the original blaster md3 files from JO. I have it in a seperate pk3. I shall test it and if it works I shall post that to IrocJeff so he can update the download.

Well I tried it. Adding the imp_pistol works great. However alot of textures become missing since it uses JO's textures, not JA's. So it is better to just play it on JO.

  12. Thankfully we have no need for 40 Tavions with Kylo ren sabers. No wonder: she's been dead for three years by the time of DP. And it's 17 years ahead, when such a hilt would be revealed to major Galaxy.
  13. All right then. New pictures can be posted here, but all plot-sensitive stuff is better discussed in PM or via email Everything will be revealed in due time.
  14. Who are you in Star Wars rebels? Quiz Here I am...
  15. I don't think the resemblance was made on purpose, but she might the closest image to what Talzin should look like.
  16. @Indy' Totof She looks like Glenn Close in this fanart.
  17. @Rooxon I actually like what I see. It's just that the latest model is quite detailed. Won't that affect performance, if other things in the gameplay are detailed as well? What I mean, is that what if the Player is using a well-detailed hilt with all the graphics up, walking through a more-than-medium map with peculiar architecture (colomns, roofs, many windows, glass and doors), streets with trees and fountains, and besides that there are several dozens of NPCs, also made from new models, with attached skins and scripts, besides sounds, fxFiles and other stuff? Texturing models is not that hard. Making them work the way they should - is 70% of victory over Jedi Academy.
  18. Sam Witwer will be voicing a character from the Legacy stories in Season 2 of Rebels. I do know, that he is good of parodiing voices, in one video he was good at reprising old Kenobi and Palpatine phrases from OT. What do they mean by Legacy era? Wondering now, if we actually see the return of Galen Marek at this time. By Season 2 he is still an apprentice of Vader, even though TFU is no longer canon. Source
  19. Sarah Michelle Gellar is joining the cast of Rebels for Season 2. Probably a cameo for an episode or two. But I believe, she might voice the female Rebel pilot, seen above in the video. Source
  20. @Barricade24 That's the tone, which comes from the closest Episode. TCW show takes place before Episode III. And the series were becoming darker and darker - we see more Imperial style in the Republic ships and bases, more Republic officers instead of just clones, CIS representatives are also try to be more cruel and dangerous, and at the same time we see the Jedi play a different role, both ordinary citizens and heroes doubt some things happening, and the world is no longer black and white, as some in TCW say during the very many philosophical discussions after Season 2. It's more about actually finishing the war, rather then counting the battle droids slashed and adventures. Rebels are a bridge towards Episode IV - it can be felt with the architecture of Lothal, the peculiar hats of both female and male citizens (one is derived from Han Solo concept for Ep.IV), the Imperials and music. Though it would be better to see the Inquisitor dead, I would like to know more about him. We never got the chance to learn his name. But I feel, he is not the only Inquisitor for sure. It would be nice to see the Emperor talking to a circle of his assistants from the Inquisitorium and seeing some of the characters now non-canon, like Dark Jedi Jerec. In the background. The two reasons why sometimes they don't include such people into new materials is that they are either unpopular or can become one (thus deriving attention from more important characters), or the authors are unaware of them. The other cause, which existed at least in Star Trek series, is the royalty rights, copyright...
  21. Not too much of a fight here, but not bad at all. I like the visual likeness of the Yavin architecture. One puzzle was a bit tricky due to jumping, but I would recoomend making them more complicated. =) Waiting for Part 2 now.
  22. @-elegant weapon- Don't forget the rule of a dead villain: no one's truly dead until the dead body is seen. I think, that was said in the Scream thriller movie, repeated by many others later. (for ones to remember the rule you might want check it with this video from Angry Alien Productions) So, the Inquisitor is most likely to return, either as a broken burnt corpse with major cybernetics, or in other forms. It is also possible, that he might even return after the series. But seeing him saying, that death is not the most terrible thing, I guess, he understands pretty well, what's being implied here.
  23. If you enjoyed the last episode, try also this video (Caution! Season 2 Spoilers - MAJOR ones!!!!) I can say, that this is a video, that shows mostly concepts, but what concepts! And the last... Oh mine, what a nice story this time! I was thrilled to see both of the characters. I wonder what would come next.
  24. @DT85 Joking, yes? I do remember what happened to EU canon, and to TFU as well... Too well.) I would prefer Mon Mothma, though the tone is most definitely not hers. Leia - possibly, but this manned of talking to Rebels looks too sophisticated for her. Besides she is like Ezra at this time. Also if it were Leia, Bail Organa would have had more info on the Rebels in one of the previous episodes - there he seemed to be a little unaware of what this cell actually represents. Leia surely would have provided him with info.
  25. @KualanWell, SW galaxies featured lots of locations, showing what they looked like by the time of 0 ABY or later. Dantooine is one of them. so as Naboo, Tatooine - certain little places can be visited there. Anchorhead as well, though I like it more in KOTOR and SWTOR, where it's quite large and well-populated. Nothing like KOTOR ruins, though both on wookiepedia and on SW Galaxies wikia it is said, that different pictures show the same place.
