  1. It sounds like we're missing some information here. That error usually only happens when trying to run Moviebattles 2, not vanilla game. Are you?
  2. Isn't most of the stuff in Dusty's Patch cvars? It should be doable to merge it in. You could use a special name designator for the cvars that are part of Dusty's Patch, like starting them with dy_ or something.

  6. I agree with minilogoguy. Giving Kyle a vibroblade at the beginning would be silly and not fit his personality at all. He recoiled at the thought of a crystal being part of a lightsaber. I doubt he's going to fight with something that's basically a lightsaber.

  8. You can't just make mods of these kind compatible with each other. The jagamex86/jk2gamex86 of your mod has to be a merging of your code with JK:Enhanced. So unless your mod is based on the code from JK:Enhanced, making the two compatible is impossible. I can foresee it working though if you had a git repo and you pulled the changes from the JK:Enhanced repository though.

  11. Most people don't map with the intention of their maps being on mainstream servers, they map for a mod. The Dark Forces 2 mod would be a great place to start since most of that architecture is very blocky.

  14. MP movement feels significantly more responsive thanks to SP having barely any friction, among other things. Also there are some tricks in multiplayer movement (bunnyhopping) which are impossible in Singleplayer.

  18. Yeah. I was thinking at first that maybe they intended for that ramp to be a thing you use Force Pull on, but it seemed like it would blend too much into the ceiling.
  19. I'm a little bit disappointed that EA didn't actually talk about these games or show off much of them. They have many more studios under their belt than Bethesda and still got crushed by them.

  21. It means your video card is failing, or your drivers are broken, or both. Is this on a vanilla copy of jamp.exe? It could also be that.
  22. I think it'd be better to change both the staircase and the grate textures. The staircase seems really odd and out of place, if you ask me.

  24. ...why would you use the Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy merger when there's a version of the JA Enhanced mod for Outcast? That's probably where the majority of problems are coming from.
  25. If you aren't content with the idea of playing with a mod, you could always just run with OpenJK, which has the feature enabled with a cvar. I think it's g_mpmovement or something similar.
