  1. Giving praise isn't being a kiss-ass. He has nothing to gain from it.
  2. Agreed. And just because it's possible to, doesn't mean we should. Would you use it?
  3. Posted this in the Discord, but I'll say again here. The stock definitely needs to be there, as it's movie accurate and it looks strange without it, in my opinion. It won't need to be extended, as we can't really do that in JKA currently, but could be a cool bonus model. And if/when JKE allows the addition of more guns easily, we can use the extended version, possibly. For those of you that don't know, the E-11 has a retractable stock: I don't think it was ever used in the films, however.

This is a very simple mod that replaces the default crosshair with all but a simple dot. This is common in a lot of games, to simplify a third person or first person experience. I felt like the default crosshairs were created more for guns, and when you play mostly just using a saber (on MP), it's nice to get the bulky crosshair out of the way and keep it simple. Again, this is another simple mod that I've had for awhile that I figured others would get use out of. This replaces the default crosshair (1) - if you use another built in crosshair (2-10) then you'll need to switch to the default. You can use this command in the console to do so: /cg_drawcrosshair 1

  6. The video already starts over by default, I believe. That's not really the issue.
  7. If you're wanting older Luke, just go with the EP7 Luke: https://jkhub.org/files/file/2535-dt-luke-ep7/
  8. For Luke in Jedi Robes, take a look at this: https://jkhub.org/files/file/1724-luke-skywalker-jedi-master/
  9. Whoa. Seriously though, I don't recall any of this. Yes, I went by the name ibonek and second start on the Void. But I don't recall being part of a mod team. Can you show me the link to what you're talking about? I want to venture down memory lane.
  10. I wanted a JK2 video, yeah. But wouldn't make sense for JKA. I wanted a JKA video that was long enough that didn't repeat a bunch, and that matched the music/mood. All the longer videos are action scenes. I wanted to make it pick a random video each time you brought it up, but not sure that's possible.
  11. Definitely possible. I'd have to convert them to an editable format, combine them, then convert the new video to ROQ. I was hoping that it could be done via shader. I'd rather have the random "shuffle" sort of thing, rather than a playlist, though.
  12. Its definitely because of the fog and grass and such. I think it might be a bit easier than you think to optimize it a bit. I recommend posting a thread about it and getting some assistance from people that know more.

This is a mod that aims to freshen and soften the main menus of both SP and MP of Jedi Academy. I always felt like the sounds and music for the menu were extremely harsh. Especially if you're playing late at night, you fire up JKA and click Play--BEEP! Ow. Click Join Serv--BEEP! New sounds add a more subtle feel to your menu experience. Music track for MP switched with the Yavin Temple explore music from JK2. Very peaceful feel, reminds me of the Jedi Academy map. Same music track added to the SP menu (previously no music played) Server list now shows more servers at a time, making the font smaller. Before it was huge and only showed around 10 at a time. New video plays in the main menu, just to give it something new. Server info window is now grey, so it's easier to see black names Hopefully more changes will happen later. This is the first release. Video demo: This was a mod I've had in my base for years but never shared it. Decided to work on it a bit more and release it. It's hard NOT to use it now. Also, keep in mind this won't work with other main menu mods, for the most part, if they edit the actual menu.
  14. Is it possible to have a shader that uses the videoMap entry to choose out of a list of ROQ files randomly? Or is it stuck with just one? Or if it's possible to just play a list of them in order. So play example.roq and when it's finished, play example2.roq, and so on.
  15. I like this a lot. You should assist me in my Star Wars Saga Mod! EDIT: Only downside is, I averaged around 30fps around the whole map. Other than that, it was great.
  16. Nice. I'll wait to play it to hear it all though. I still need to play through KOTFE.
  17. Oh I see. They used that model, which removes the beard from the face, and then they tried putting the beard back on via textures. Both models are JK2 models though. They work in JKA fine. So getting this done as a JK2 model would be easy, but if you really only want it for JKA, it will take someone that knows how to do that, which is only a couple people, form what I understand.
  18. You have to open the ports on your router first, I believe. Then open a Terminal window, drag the openjkded.x86_64 into the window and add +set dedicated "2" +set fs_game "MB2" and press Enter.
