Our first order of business from the news post is a new interview. I wanted to use that post for you guys to submit questions but maybe this will work better. The first one up is going to be a coder interview. Since the source code released, these guys have been hard at work on OpenJK, improving on the original code released by Raven. It's really some fascinating stuff and we'd love to know more about it. Especially now that rend2 is picking up speed these last couple months. So here's how it will work. We want you guys to submit any questions you have for the coders behind OpenJK. These should be on topic for the most part. We will sift through the questions and pick the best ones, if not all, depending on the amount we receive. The coders that have been contacted can submit questions as well, since it's a group. If you are a coder that we have not contacted, feel free to PM me. This is mostly geared towards the "JACoders" working on OpenJK but that is by no means a requirement to be a part of this. Go ahead and give us some questions to ask them!

Are...are you serious? I use it as a workspace, but when I'm done, I move the files to the proper folders. Can't stand when people keep all their files on the desktop. That's what the hard drive folders are for.

It's probably their machine. Some computers play videos smoother than others. I don't really know what's going on here.

All free ones suck for the most part. iMovie is probably the best free one, but is only on Mac. If you're just making a simple video with music, Windows Movie Maker works fine, if that even still exists in Windows 7/8.

Right, and we definitely administer punishment where it's due, which isn't always noticeable to others, like warnings and suspensions or even bans. Like MoonDog's situation. Revian plagiarized, so we removed his file and gave him 2 warning (a feature of IPB, 3 warnings = a suspension). I don't think that was really flat-out ban worthy, since we also removed the file and can monitor his future submissions closer now. And yes, by IP, username, email, everything. He manages to still slip in over and over.

It's all up to you. If it's your first run through JA SP, just do it with no mods. I recommend cosmetic mods that improve the look of things. And then you could try my prequel conversion mod. It's pretty fun.

I ban him as soon as I discover it's him, trust me. He's attempted to register over 100 times (no joke). I usually catch him before he posts but sometimes I'm not online when it happens. As far as MoonDog's issue goes, we try to deal with things without over moderating. We took down the file in question and gave the offender a warning. We can't just go around swinging the ban hammer every time someone does something wrong. That's what I hated about FileFront. Also, we try to keep bans and suspensions quiet when they do happen. So most of them people don't even know about.

Conduct support for that to @@spior. Perhaps he can help you out. That would be a good one, but no way to collect that unfortunately, as far as I know.
