I'm confused. The first image is what the model looked like before you edited it or you're trying to duplicate of that image? If there's an untextured hood, that means its either not turned off in the .skin file or there's no line for it at all. You can check if you open the model in ModView and find the surface that is untextured, note the name of it, and check for it in the .skin file.

This is the default for most NPC's: dismemberProbHead 0 dismemberProbArms 20 dismemberProbLegs 0 dismemberProbHands 30 dismemberProbWaist 0 Those are in percentages, so setting one to 100 would make it 100% probable that it will dismember that part if hit by a saber. But those are ignored if g_morerealisticcombat is enabled, as stated above. That command sets everything to 100, essentially.

Yeah, my guess is Luke went into exile. The galaxy might even think he's dead, which is why this evil guy comes about, possibly. Either to draw him out, or to take over the galaxy since nobody can stop him.

That error is because of an image saved as progressive, as has been stated multiple times. simply choosing "standard" instead of "progressive" in Photoshop or GIMP will fix this issue.

I would argue that CoD does a decent job with characters and their story development in some ways. I wouldn't mind a Star Wars game like that I guess, where you play as special operations agents, officers, etc. But Battlefront has always been about a common soldier even in their "campaigns". Not saying character development wouldn't be nice, but sometimes it's not really needed.

What would the story even be? You play as an expendable soldier and you respawn as a new one. I don't think being attached to the character is even necessary in this case.

Yeah, that sucks, but there will still be ship battles in the skies of the planets. Still pretty cool. There will be missions similar to the old Battlefronts, just no cutscenes, which were just clips from the films with a clone trooper's monologue. It wasn't anything special. The missions themselves were just objective based matches, which is exactly what DICE has said will be available, solo and co-op. So no real "campaign" I guess, but pretty much what we had before. Where was the statement that said no AI? According to DICE there will be fully functional AI bots. Also, 20 vs 20 isn't enough?? wat. Like they said in the video, any more than that is way too much. 5 planets that we know about so far, with multiple maps per planet. Yes, I'd like to see more planets but I don't think that will make the game feel incomplete. If there are 3 or 4 maps per planet, that's quite a lot. And with every mission different every time, according to those that saw the pre-alpha demo at SWC, I think it will be just enough. I'm not saying you have to like it or buy it, but I'm trying my best to debunk some of the instant pessimism you people seem to have against anything new around here, before you've even played or seen the game itself. Just trying to help you out.

I don't think that's the case, and if it was, you can unplug your Kinect. I don't have one, bought the non-Kinect version. Cheaper. Yeah, cross-platform servers would be perfect. More games need to do that, though I'm sure its an issue with the platform companies not wanting that to be possible.

I wouldn't ever call mods essential files when it comes to playing MP, especially LAN parties. If you want to try MBII, that's like an entirely different game. JA++ wouldn't really be necessary at all for a LAN party. OpenJK would be a smart idea, yes. Lots of bug fixes you'd benefit from most likely.
