Nikto

Hi!

Here goes the next model that we made for The Dark Pastime - Nikto.

Nice. It might look better if his helmet thing was a color that blended better with the rest of his outfit. Brown, black, or grey. Purple just doesn't really match or look all that great in this case.

We've actually made several skins, and none of them is that reddish. In all cases the helmet is correspondent with the general apparel, armor.

 

Also we could have made the completely new model, but this time we used only the new head. That's to make a more interlinked thug gang, where Niktos fight alongside with already familiar human mercenaries from JA.

 

Niktos are not the only ones among the new bounty hunters. There are also more Humans, Duros and Zeltron. I also want to add Clawdites and Rattataki. The bounty hunters (as all most of other factions) have female adversaries at their side now.

Since the guy is a mercenary, you should try getting him to look a bit more like this. Just saying, since this one looks a bit more like a gangster. Your choice though, not mine.

Well, he is both a ganster and a merc. I assume, he might be more than that. This model is not to be used solely for one character. =) As many others do. Also the model has several skins (as most other models too).

It was one of the models we wanted to release prior to the mod. The problem is that I couldn't find any suitable sounds for this model. And Nikto really needs some.

Maybe you can find some good sound for this model in KOTOR.

I've looked into this matter. Yes, KOTOR does have very good sounds for Nikto, but there are only a few. For the most this includes pain sounds and death. Sometimes taunts. Just like in SWTOR, which has only a few voice files for most NPCs. In JA there are dozens, including at least four for the damage, several deaths, taunts, and other.

As Carth Onasi would say – "It is probably nothing", but I find some funny similarity between our Nikto bounty hunter and the new character by the name of Neeku, who is also a Nikto in the "Resistance" animated show.

 

 

 

Aside from this observation, there are only a few things to mention right now about DP, which can be discussed here.

I mean, that there is a coincidence, that our Nikto character released years ago follows the same fashion like the Nikto from the new series, which aired a few days ago.
