  2. People who have lots of spare money, can go to a university. I don't want to learn coding for a job. I want to learn it just for jka. And perhaps in the future for new Jedi Knight games.
  3. The problem is that the tutorials other than eezstreet's are just copy/paste ones. I can't learn a thing from that. Eezstreet shows you pieces of code and explains everything. Other people don't do that. What do you suggest me to do then? What do I need to learn? C and C++? If I want to make a Turret Defense gamemode/mod for jka, what parts do I need to edit? Do you got lots of spare time? If you do, do you mind to help me out? Steam: {JoF}Maui

  5. Also, I'm a bad reader. And I'm totally new to coding. The reason I want to learn to code is because I want to make a Turret Defense game/mod for jka.
  6. Well, I got myself a book from the library to learn C coding.
  7. So, I've been thinking lately about learning to code and make my own mod for jka. But there's only one problem... there is no sufficient knowledge on jkhub or google at all. I don't know where to begin, and how to get further. Anybody care to help out me and probably many others?

  9. Well, you can kind of do that. But you can't rig the player custimisations into jka. Say like, you're changing the size of the brows or the height of the nose. Changes like that can't be rigged. They can be done in the modelling program though with enough patience. You can rig ANYTHING of the game into jka. From buildings to plants, from plants to different sky textures and more. You can even import animals like dogs and dragons. It's a piece of cake. If I'm allowed to put a tutorial on jkhub, I could add that to my youtube channel aswell. Your call!

  11. So yeah, the use of this topic is simple. It has 2 functions. To show what I rigged and to ask if this is legal on the forums. (since skyrim can be modded and nexusmods puts their own mods and everything online for free, I guess it is). This is the real Skeleton from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is fully rigged and has taunts of itself and a few of a draugr (dir volaan and some other things). Hope you like it, I do more things like these. If I see a cool piece of armor or something, I just use it.
  12. For some reason this code doesn't work as it should. It does all the code. Normally, it should run one ' if ' statement per scriptrun. But it runs all the code at once. Any help?
  13. Indeed, that's not the entire ent file. But it those 2 are the only 2 things I use for that particular script. Ah yes, that's why I assumed it, because I'm used to get immediatly helped on jkhub. Sorry
  14. hmm, now it works again. Maybe if I go window mode, it crashes. And when I go fullscreen is works.
  15. Appearently I can play on the maps when I remove the pk3 file. But when I reinstall jka while the pk3 file is in my base folder, I can play the maps with /devmap. And when I close jka and restart it, it crashes again when I use /devmap.

  17. Heya, So basicly, everytime I entity modded a map and I try to run it with /devmap mp/ffa (or even if I join a server that runs it) I get the following: "JKA has stopped working". Any explanation or reason behind that?
