Soooo, how does it look? The main changes on display are the changed parry speeds, altered walk animations for better blocking, the changed parry values for sabers, so if you look closely, you can see that strong style attacks are actually blocked, but not parried/bounced back.
EDIT: Also, no saber throws in there, and the occasional kick attack by me (stylishly I might add, even though this was usually unintentional after a saber lock), the reborn masters seem to like using their tavion style, and the saber damage while overall mostly unnoticeable, should be 1.25x normal.
The difficulty is g_spskill 2 which is Jedi Knight/Jedi Master difficulty (they both use the same setting). The only thing I change is the amount of health I have part way through from 50/50 to 100/100.
Yep I caught most of this. I missed the walk a little because it is similart to the one I've used for so long. Did you also speed up the yellow's swing speed? It looked like the speed I use when I set the command g_saberanimspeed 1.1. Red's attacks were blocked much more which is good.
I'm thinking of changing the parry speeds in my animation mod to test it out now.

That is one heck of a cool looking trooper! That's a trooper I'd worry about going up agains as a Jedi. We need to get a flamethrower weapon now more than ever to go with this guy!

The quick explanation of what Circa is showing you is:
Animation name, the the starting frame of the animation, the number of frames in the animation, wheiter it plays once (-1) or loops (0), and the speed (normally 20 or 40)

To what extent are you talking about with adding? I'm guessing smaller things, but I don't know what that would be.

I don't know if that was serious or not. Not mad either way. I figure we all got into this to do something we wanted and it was that selfish drive to make better stuff that kept us going. If I didn't like my animations I wouldn't keep making them. Besides being selfish is not a bad thing really. All things in moderation.
Besides, my offer to make that animation pack for you still stands.

I didn't think it was an attack on you or your list Lord_Revian. It just seemed that others wanted to bring up some past greats.
Besides, I'm my favorite modder! I luv me my animations! Once I got my JK style run in the game I had like a BAZILLION times more fun!

When I saw you here I recognized you avatar and kept hoping you'd upload it. I wasn't going to ask about it since if you decided not to work on it that's your decision. It would be cool to finally get one or two though!

Swimming would be neat, but it is hardly used. If it was used more often then I'd consider making new animations.

That's why I avoid saying a style in JA is the same as a form. The forms are mindsets for fighting. I'll typically only call a saber style a form because that's what people are thinking about.
I use yellow the most when I play JA. It has a very solid attack set with good reach, attack arcs, speed, ground, and air attack options.
The way JO and JA are setup you naturally learn to use the seven forms for the most part.
You get a lightsaber and no special moves. So you learn the basics first. (Form I).
Blocking isn't very good against gunners first so you rely on the force (form VI) and acrobatics for dodging (form IV).
You start fighting reborn/cultist so you beging to learn how to move and manage your attacks and situational awareness (form II).
As blocking increases you can block and reflect shots back (form III and form V) or just block and close in to attack (form V).
As you get the more aggressive styles you can push the offense more (form V) and do so with force powers like speed and rage (form VII).
As you learn to do all these together you are developing form VI.
This is why I view form VI Niman to be the best form. For me yellow style allows me to do all of these to some extent. Sure red or desann is better for V and VII, or blue for III, but yellow can handle these competently.
