The first time I found out about mods. This was the first time I ever heard of such a thing.
I was looking for cheat codes online and saw a grappling hook mod. I was all like 'WTF? there is no grappling hook in this game.'
A hop, skip, and a jump and I found myself on Massassi.net.
OMG! It is possible to change the game!
Sidenote: Saber Battle X was the best mod ever! That was where I started tweaking code and animations.

One little critique.
Could you put the buckles on the outside of the leg? On the inside they would rub against each other and catch on each other.
When I go to fencing I make sure my knee and elbow straps are on the outside for this reason.
It is the same for baseball catcher's leg guards too.

I agree with @@Circa. I don't use the bowcaster normally. I only use it in two scenarios: 1. a full charged shot into a Reborn right was they are swinging at the player can kill the weaker two. Any other Reborn will survive the shot. 2. Sniping headshots on unaware npcs.
If it is in level 3 then two stages without it are ok. Or you could put it in as a secret, but not put any ammo in the stages. So the player has a limited use of it until they pick it up later.

Yeah I don't think it was.

I hope we get a superhero-ish, skin tight outfit to show off the details you are putting into this.
I mean you modeled the toes!

You might be able to find one of the blonde head on some reddish robes. One was done on the void years ago. I think it was released. If it was I may have grabbed it. I'll try and remember to look through all my files.
-
In sp it felt the same to me.

I can keep my mouth shut too. So send me a pm with questions.
Though jkhub is now blocked at work so I'll only be checking Thursday nights and some weekends.
Only thing is I don't do cutscene animations. Tried once. Fell to the Dark Side. Bad Times.
Any gameplay focused animations I'll see what I can do.

He's doing a head swap mechanic in his sp mod.
I was joking that modellers should add a bit of variety to their models and let people use the customization menu. It's a great feature in JA!
-
Really the best idea would be to make one body with different outfits and make the appropriate heads. That way we could make a menu that would allow us to select custom parts for a character.
Like have a Obi head, a Qui-gon head, etc
Then maybe a way to separate the body into multiple parts. At least two would be good.

I remember those at the comic shop. Yeah I thought they were cool too.
The Darth Maul in training gear, not so much.

I just downloaded the newest build. I'll try again and see if I get it right.
I can't remember what I did now.
-
I tried using a build once, but couldn't get it to work. Is there a link to a readme somewhere or is there one included now?

I like what Circa said. A simple version first followed by a complex one in the future.
The only downside I can see is if you use the 'use' key for editing. IF another mod comes out that lets us issue commands to npc's it will probably make use of the 'use' key.
Not a problem now but MAYBE a future compatibility issue.

I didn't know Infinity Blade passed away. That sucks hard. His Merc Kyle is still the model I use for myself ingame. I had a blue jacket and wear blue jeans all the time.
@@NumberWan, do you have any of those mods from Nazar? I've never heard of those. Why were they controversial?

Wait a sec, it looks like you've nailed the body proportions. Did you do something different than what you did for Starkiller?
-
I ran into that in base JA. I made a custom config with all my camera controls and such and the game would not load it.
My opinion?
Yay!

Right now the people who can model are working on projects or are not interested in making models at this moment. It would probably be better to see if there are any reskins out there (I don't know of any off hand, I don't like the AC games) or other skins you could use in their place. Reskinning Hapslashes Anakin model would be the easiest thing to do. Sure it wouldn't be accurate to any of the games, but you could try making a jedi/sith who is working for the assassins (T).
Someone who makes sabers might be inclined to make a small saber for the left arm that is bound to the wrist to be a hidden blade for you if you can make a skin.
If someone makes a hilt like that I will try and make a stab animation with it for you to use.
So give skinning a shot.

Do the level however you want. I'm big on modders taking whatever creative freedom they want to. Sure sometimes the more 'faithful' we can be to a design is better, but I say do what we like.
I was looking forward to fighting the Mark droid at the end as one example of creative freedom. New areas, like behind the bar, that reward being bad or good is a good choice too. Like Eezstreet said, 'if I wanted DF2 exactly I'd play that instead.' In fact I haven't played it in a while so I may do that soon.

Those are real nice.

I love'd the Clone Wars comics that Dark Horse did between ep 2 to ep 3. Those were excellent.

1st. I can't believe that is a LOD!
2nd. I'd say to stay close to the JA proportions. That will make it look the best with the animations. Escpecially since you said you are past the point where editing size is easy.
What about using a bulk shader?
What's your favorite memory playing JK:DF2 and/or MotS?

Saber Battle X had a large saber and a staff saber.
