Swimming would be neat, but it is hardly used. If it was used more often then I'd consider making new animations.

That's why I avoid saying a style in JA is the same as a form. The forms are mindsets for fighting. I'll typically only call a saber style a form because that's what people are thinking about.
I use yellow the most when I play JA. It has a very solid attack set with good reach, attack arcs, speed, ground, and air attack options.
The way JO and JA are setup you naturally learn to use the seven forms for the most part.
You get a lightsaber and no special moves. So you learn the basics first. (Form I).
Blocking isn't very good against gunners first so you rely on the force (form VI) and acrobatics for dodging (form IV).
You start fighting reborn/cultist so you beging to learn how to move and manage your attacks and situational awareness (form II).
As blocking increases you can block and reflect shots back (form III and form V) or just block and close in to attack (form V).
As you get the more aggressive styles you can push the offense more (form V) and do so with force powers like speed and rage (form VII).
As you learn to do all these together you are developing form VI.
This is why I view form VI Niman to be the best form. For me yellow style allows me to do all of these to some extent. Sure red or desann is better for V and VII, or blue for III, but yellow can handle these competently.

I only want a new JK if it is similar to the current ones with it's gameplay and moddable.

It is affected by the speed the character is going. If you play with the command g_speed ### you can see this. Default value is 250. I play with the speed set to 200 so I get a jump that doesn't go as far. This makes me have to use the 'force leap' combo sometimes.

Once I get saber styles going your free to use or modify them however you want. So if you want to snag the backhand styles go for it.

I'm still totally into the idea of making more styles. It'll have to wait till after I get a new computer though. I can barely run XSI and then I don't have any tutorials available since I don't have the internet at my apartment.
I'm not really into the descriptive versions of the 7 forms though. All those descriptions do is tell you the mindset of the form. It doesn't do anything to tell me how it should move or behave. I can use all 7 of the forms with the basic three that you get in JA with those descriptions.
I have 3 different staff styles, 3 dual styles, a large amount of single styles, and some misc weapons like spears and such planned. All I need is to learn the new tools to make them and then someone who can put them into SP and MP or show me how.

I don't think I'd add thight muscles to his legs. It seemed he was in regular pants and not form-fitting clothing.

What about adding more frames to the riding animation? That's how I make breathing and leg up positions. Make two frames of the character sitting then add some frames between them that are set to blend. Then just edit the cape bones.

There was a vader hilt in the past that had his breathing added to it. That way you wouldn't have to mess with animsounds.cfg.

Thanks for doing that! Now we don't have to worry about characters all the sudden using "Force Mind Speak" in cinematics.

Can't speak to the topo, but the face still looks too far forward. If that's how JA models are positioned then carry on.

So I love everything you did there, but why did you remove the facial bones? I know you are making new and better one, so would these conflict with the older ones? I'm just thinking about all the existing models that won't be rerigged like the base models or very popular models like Obi and Ani.

Wow! I wasn't a huge fan of Vader models, but that is one fine texture job.
I'd suggest an alternate, pasty white head for RotJ style Vader.

I think making the ears smaller was a mistake.
The thing that is off to me is how far forward his face is. I don't know the terms so I'll try to explain. The distance from the corner of my eye to the front of my ear is about 3.5 inches. Your face looks closer to 5 or 6 inches.

Good call. I played it for the first time this week and was let down. No games that I even want at a cheaper price and the demos in the test units sucked. Knack was total garbage. Not worth $5 even.

Nice. I tried to get OJK working without success. Figured I'd wait till they finished it or someone used a mod made from it.
