------------------------------------------------------------ An Inverse Kinematics rig for creating Jedi Academy animations within Blender. For Blender versions 2.93 and up. Included in the .blend file is a guide on how to navigate the rig itself, and how to export using the rig. ---------------------------------------------- Inspired by the CAT Rig created for 3DS Max, I created this project as a means to both continue animating once I lost access to 3DS Max, and be able to use tools I was a bit more familiar with. ---------------------------------------------- -

Cal Kestis as is featured in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the upcoming sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. After watching the 2022 Game Awards, and seeing the premiere of the new trailer for Jedi: Survivor, I knew I had to try kitbashing Cal's new look. Jedi: Survivor looks like it is going to be a blast to play, so this is an attempt to bring a temporary substitute until the game's release. Thank you to ZelZel and YesImSev for helping me with testing this model, and all at JAO for motivating me to get back into kitbashing models. Install Instructions: Put the "Cal Kestis - Jedi Survivor.pk3" inside your base folder. Uninstall Instructions: Remove the "Cal Kestis - Jedi Survivor.pk3" from your base folder. ---------------------------------------------- Features: Sounds: Yes NPC Support: Yes BOT Support: No SP Support: No ---------------------------------------------- To use the model, type this into your command console (or select the Icon in the player select screen): "/model cal_survivor" To spawn him as an NPC, type these commands into your console: "/npc spawn cal_survivor" "/npc spawn cal_survivorduals" "/npc spawn cal_survivorstaff" "/npc spawn cal_survivor_dark" "/npc spawn cal_survivorduals_dark" "/npc spawn cal_survivorstaff_dark" ---------------------------------------------- This model contains ported content that I have edited for the model. I do not own the parts used in this model. I am only responsible for any edits made, and putting everything together. All borrowed content used is listed and credited below. wip Big Phil trying his best (WIP Thread)
JustJordyn replied to bigphil2695's topic in WIPs, Teasers & Releases
I cannot wait to see how this one looks, I love seeing how modders model differently, and JKHub needs this guy in their files. -
I've been suggested by some people in an few Discords to share some of my kitbashes, so here goes. I'll add more as I make ones I'm proud of. All credit should really go to those who initially created the parts used in any of these models, as they're the real talent, and I can't model from scratch (yet). Inquisitor Starkiller Based on the concept art by Daniel de Almeida. Pretty sure it's a fan piece, not official, but it looked cool either way. Comes in two versions, both have sound. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oSbEmL0-fZab2VRd042MeiEDdeKqDt-R/view?usp=sharing Inquisitor Cal Kestis Taken from the design in Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal Kestis in his Inquisitor outfit. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16NVlDPb8YxSCV5ZvoEF8Du2lYgR-Lzs6/view?usp=sharing

Atlantis and other projects + Playable Alpha

Anything ever happen with Atlantis? File link won't let me get it, which sucks cause it looked real cool. -
Your favorite JO/JA levels?
JustJordyn replied to Username's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
I'm gonna break the norm. Favourite Outcast Level(s): All of the Yavin levels. Seeing the Jedi all training early on, and then going through the trials for the lightsaber was so much fun. And then returning later on felt like the perfect send-off. Least favourite Outcast Level(s): The Artus prison level, especially with escorting the imperial (Unless I'm remembering wrong.) I also wasn't a fan of the Nar Shaddaa levels, they felt very mazey. Best thing about them was Reelo, and it was cool he was in Star Wars Galaxies too. Favourite Academy Level(s): I love Blenjeel. Massive sand worms, and having to hide out on rocks and the shipwreck was so awesome. I can picture a Fremen like people on the planet learning to ride them around (though admittedly, that's a bias because I roleplay one in an rp group). I also like the training right after getting to the temple, at the very beginning, and the one mission with Rax Joris. Least Favourite Academy Level(s): Off the top of my head, I don't like the Droid Recovery mission on Tatooine, nor the bomb defusal mission on Bakura. -
Of course! I'd be more than happy to help.

I've had some experience with rigging whilst watching a friend of mine do some JKA model ports. I could give this a crack. Is there a place to get the models?
