K don't want this as an official release but this is a semi release. might eventually make it bigger before I post it officially on jkhub. It might end up being a piece of a future large map I make as well so no one steal it and put it in ur map please as happened once in the past grr.

But feel to try it or race it. It has trigger at beginning and end that mods can use for timers.

    JAWA Central Beta 2 !

It's been awhile since the last testing in October, so I wanted to put this out with some updated content. I didn't get around to formally putting levelshots/boutroutes/arena file/etc yet so you'll have to do /map jawacentralbeta2  (or /devmap jawacentralbeta2) instead of going to "create game" option.

If you get the NPC Extensions Too Large error, it is due to exess npc or npc vehicle mods in your base folder.

If you find anything unusual, odd, a bug, texture misalignment, etc that you please post it (with a screenshot preferably). If possible, please provide feedback, questions, etc.

    Some new things include:

    • Circling Corridor.
    • Flight Arena
    • Bug fixes
    • Tweaked certain parts of the map

  3. Ya it sounds impossible to figure out just without having the map and messing with it. However, if you're using a lomem compile, your map is either super large with no other options or it's poorly optimized.

I would put the following in your world spawn and get rid of lomem. One more thing, I never know if the commands need an underscore or not so I usually enter them all twice since if you don't enter it correctly it does nothing but it doesn't negatively affect anything.

See if you can get the compile down to a time more reasonable. Also I wouldn't be using bounce or anything like that.

The same question stands for for com_maxfps (125, 333)

+/- why is openjk set to 40 as default?

+/- how does this differ in known modifications?

90 fps is the best for racing by far. You won't jump quite as far but as far as raw speed go with 90. A close second would be 142 I believe.

  5. @@Ping I guess for me Chewie has always been a great side-kick, but he had much more of a presence in this film. I loved watching him make fun of Han behind his back, the bowcaster bits, Chewie complaining of being cold, flirting with the nurse, mourning/freaking out about Han's death, and then flying the Falcon solo. He just had much more to do in this film, about as much as he had to do (if not more) in ROTJ, imo.

No reason to kill off Chewie. That costume never ages. Disney will be able to make money off that thing for decades.

  6. Maybe he'll analyze empire strikes back, and the movie will start on a frozen planet very similar to Hoth. The movie would then show the empire regaining its foothold so in movie 9, they could blow up a shabbily defended death star #4 after they get its battle plans from one of the droids. At that point the empire will have to file for bankruptcy due wasting so much money building planet size structures that get blown up relatively easily.

  7. Hands down the worst movie I have ever seen. The sad part is, the new characters were great, and the first third of the movie was terrific. Apparently originality is not a concept that J.J. Abrams is familiar with, so he literally went out of his way to rip off scenes from A New Hope. Kylo Ren was the most comical villain I have ever seen, and all of the characters from the original trilogy save for Han were as wooden as cardboard cutouts.

And all of the aggravating Abrams tendencies dialed up to 11. The sets constructed from nothing but shiny chrome and red lights (unless theres a computer screen, in which case its always blue for some reason). The sound of a lightsaber now apparently needs to destroy my eardrums every time it gets activated, even though it sounds nothing like what it sounded like in the other six films. The nods to the original trilogy done with all of the subtlety of a hammer. Fight scenes that drag on forever with no change in the mood or pace of the scene (or, I don't know, the occasional line of dialogue?). A movie that drags on forever somehow cant spend more than 15 seconds dealing with why we should care about some random planets being destroyed. Characters are introduced, given 5 minutes of character development, expected to somehow play a big role in important scenes, then completely disappear for the rest of the movie. Characters participate in an emotional, complicated moment that changes the outlook of the story, which is instantly reversed for no reason at all other than shock factor, and keeping the story moving in its original (predictable) direction. CGI heavy battle scenes that last for 5 minutes but don't advance the plot at all. Musical themes from previous movies blared as loud as possible during important scenes in an attempt to make them seem meaningful.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH

    Im out

Yes it was garbage but Abrams and Disney are laughing their way to the bank. Disney also owns Marvel in a buy out, and is making a million iron mans, antman 2,3,4,5 and 6, xman 11,12, etc.

    1. To blow up the 120-km "Death Star" in Star Wars, the rebels needed detailed plans for the base and a full-scale invasion force -- as well as the supernatural targeting skills of the most powerful Force-user in the galaxy. To destroy the exponentially larger and better-protected "Starkiller Base" inThe Force Awakens, all that was needed was a janitor with no special skills, a few run-of-the-mill handheld explosives, a couple not very difficult X-wing blaster strikes, and some moxie. It also helped that the Millennium Falcon was able to "fly low."

    2. The wily Han Solo loses track of his most prized possession, the Millennium Falcon, for more than a dozen years. He has no idea where it is -- in the entire Galaxy. When you lose something in your house, that's bad; when you lose something on your planet, you kiss it goodbye but pray for a miracle; when you lose something in the entire Galaxy, you just get on with your life. And yet, less than a minute after Rey begins piloting the Millennium Falcon, Han looks out the window of his freighter and says, "Oh, there it is."

    3. Kylo Ren, a powerful Force-user, fights a light saber duel with an ex-janitor who has never held a light saber and yet (a) never uses the Force on his opponent, though doing so would have ended the duel immediately, and (b) barely wins the fight, suggesting that he is simultaneously one of the least strategic wielders of the Force the Dark Side has ever seen and, despite his training, absolutely terrible with a light saber. None of this stops Kylo Ren from designing and building his own, completely impractical cross-barred lightsaber.

    4. Rey becomes nearly as effective a Force-user in a few hours as Luke Skywalker did in a few years.

    5. Just minutes before Starkiller Base explodes, Supreme Leader Snoke tells Hux to go get Kylo Ren and take him off the planet. Unfortunately, Ren had recently (unbeknownst to Hux) run into the woods like a lunatic, leaving no information about his whereabouts. It's no problem, though, because Hux apparently has special Kylo Ren GPS and (one assumes) goes right to the spot in the middle of the forest where Ren is bleeding to death; otherwise, Ren would have died on the planet along with everybody else from the First Order.

    ...

    11. Kylo Ren is the head of the Knights of Ren, but there are no other Knights of Ren in the movie.

    ...

    27. How did Kylo Ren manage to get Darth Vader's mask into his little fetish den? This is only the most significant piece of memorabilia in the entire Galaxy. Not a plot hole per se, but still odd. And yet a similar question could be asked of Rey: how did she get that X-wing pilot helmet, and why doesn't she sell it for food? And why does Teedo (a fellow scavenger on Jakku) just give Rey BB-8 after capturing the droid, given that as an experienced trader Teedo would already know that (as Rey quickly discovers) BB-8 is worth 100 times more than any random pile of junk either he or Rey could ever offer Plutt? Now that is a plot hole.

  9. I played a ton of jk1 since the day it came out. We used to have a competitive ladder system called case's that we played on the zone, and I went to that website a lot.

In my expedition map, I put up a wall poster of the massassi temple in my bar.

Will miss that website it's still in my rotation of websites I tend to visit once every few months or so.

edit: I think you got trolled. that reddit article was from 2014.

Here is last post on their site about it..

Lazarus ain't got nothing on us. - Cool Matty 12:02 am Site's back up and in action. Thanks for your patience. Should be properly secured for the next 20 years, or until everything is so deprecated that nothing runs. We'll see! Some sections that were never used have been disabled just to avoid the hassle. Other sections are partially disabled until I have time to fix them, in the next few days. Don't worry, all files are intact and safe (as well as backed up), and the levels section is already fully functional. Enjoy! Sunday, June 9, 2013
