  1. Updated the GLM Noesis tutorial to include weapon GLMs so no more need for MD3view thanks to Rich :)

  5. Spent all last night importing my model.glm of Maul because I lost almost all of the .max source file. :\

      And I've figured out animations too though it's only really good for making new GLA's for creatures, etc

  8. No jitter present in a GLA from Noesis, compared to a GLA from carcass. Awesome :D

      Doesn't matter where the animation comes from, it's the fact that jitter isn't noticeable anymore using Noesis. HOWEVER, Noesis isn't what I'd call 'ready' for use with JKA. Still a few bugs, but hopefully they will get sorted by Rich. :D

      But in the "jittery bones" thread you stated the dotXSI files played fine in ModTool... so jog my memory-- is this jitter present in the official, original _humanoid.gla file???

      I wonder what's causing it, maybe a combination of the linear interpolation the game uses mixed with the low frame rate of the animations?

      Missed your comment... they have the eyes closed in one of the face anims IIRC... so do they use that one?:

      Would be nice if the still good tools (w/source) that were shipped with GPL release got replaced with Qt. These all use MFC and its not compatible with Express editions of MSVC including Assimilate. :(

      You should probably check with the developer and see what's going on. It might just be an oversight on his part. Noesis is still quite new with these features.

      Get in touch with Rich. He's on #jacoders and he eventually gets around to checking for messages directed to him. I'd suggest upload your 3ds file (or w/e format you plan to export from) and then send him a link + small explanation.

      I agree, I'm not sure why that's not a built in feature. However, you should be able to find it in your browser history.

      I've always been able to replace files (dotXSI exporter) before it was approved.

      I'm curious, how did you go about attempting this from a level design perspective? Did you just use screenshots for references?

      I personally used JED (DF2 map editor) for 3D reference

      Well, maybe you can find some people offsite from other places to help you out. Or, you can just keep pressing on, one room at a time. Make it your life's work! :)

      Some people may have missed it due to it being posted on the previous page. On some other forums, this usually leads to maybe one or two people not seeing something and I wanted to make sure that didn't happen here :)
