  1. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it in the end. I wasn't able to get home/access to my own PC to be able to play. I should be good for the upcoming weekend, though, so I hope to see you all there!
  2. You could always try the old fashioned method of just uninstalling shiz. But perhaps not to the point of getting yelled at by @@Azatha for doing it so often.
  3. If I make it into a decoration, then there won't be that problem with colour, either. I'll take a crack at it tomorrow.
  4. I've had this idea a few times myself whilst playing. It'd be so much more convenient to be able to quickly say "Pass" rather than second guess where your team mate is going to go. The only flaw is that we switch teams so often. We could always play fixed teams, but I'm not sure if people would be up for that.
  5. It's not too bad in blue, aye. But it automatically turns green once one jumps in the water to start a game. I'll have a tinker and see if I can fix that.
  6. I tried the design in @@Malkav 's picture above, but it honestly didn't turn out too well where function was concerned. So, I tried this one: But honestly, I think the better design is actually just this old thing:
  7. I'll get back to you on this one. I should be able to do it. I'll give it a go soon.
  8. Malkav looks terrifying.
  9. I'd definitely be keeping that in my Base, get crackin'!
  10. Thanks for coming along all of those who made it! There were some seriously well-played games in that mix, hope to see you all again for the next one!
  11. I loll'd @@Cloud Senatu . I was also heartbroken when my request didn't make it into Atlantica back when we had a thread for its development. On the subject of the underwater facility, I've seen a fantastic duel one, and Atlantica fills the void where RP establishments are concerned. I'd like to see a good FFA or CTF map.
  12. Conventions, where a simple burger can cost up to £12.
  13. Looking forward to some Hydroball this Sunday!

  14. I'll just point out that this can easily be done by editing any .veh file. Simply add the line "maxPassengers" with a value of your choice for the number of passengers. However, where speeders are concerned this is usually a bad idea. All extra passengers will be invisible, which breaks the immersion of a role-play in progress.
  15. I honestly choose to make things up as I go along once that moment of inspiration has occurred. When I first started, I did draw out plans but they never turned out that well, causing me to stop bothering with that step.
  16. I'll never understand why they didn't add a brown and orange to the available colours. *Sigh*...
  17. Whilst I applaud the effort that apparently went into the development of this game, I can't say that it really strikes me as all that interesting to play. I tip my hat to the small group of guys who put it together, but this one's definitely not for me.
  18. Some good costumes there! How's your wallet after attending?

Description: This pack contains a handful of files, all of which require placement in your Gamedata/Hydroball folder, not your Base folder. I started putting this together simply so that when I glanced at the main menu, I could tell if the mod was running or not. Whilst I was making the change, I decided to make a couple more. The effects of installing each of the files are listed below. Note: Only install one of the zConsole files, as they will conflict with one another. zAnimation.pk3 This mod ensures that your hands are placed by your sides when unarmed, rather than raised in front of you with clenched fists. zConsole.pk3 This alters the Base console to display my new Hydroball logo without affecting the transparency. zConsole_Transparent.pk3 This mod makes the console fully transparent, with the addition of a unique Hydroball logo I designed. zHud.pk3 Installing this pk3 removes unnecessary clutter surrounding the in game HUD. zMenu.pk3 This replaces where it reads "Multiplayer" with "Hydroball" just above the video on the main menu. zSplashScreen.pk3 This changes the loading screen for the Hydroball mod.

  21. Just be sure that you're not spending more effort on the Easter Eggs than the actual map. As Azatha said, it really depends on the size of the map. Anything can be an Easter Egg, really. From a magazine cover on the table to an entire underground complex. My advice would be not to go overboard. Focus on quality over quantity.

Description: For the sake of variety and increased visibility, I've provided several alternatives to the default blue used for the ball in the Hydroball mod. The ball itself is apparently not seamless, otherwise I would have attempted the obvious choice of a Blitzball from FFX. Please note that you may only have one ball installed at any one time. The variants include: Cyan, Green, Orange, Red, White, Yellow A special English football variant has been included. Whilst not perfectly seamless (something beyond my control), it looks the part well enough to be used.
