  1. Hello, just a question like this, will there be the possibility for the player to have to NPCs stats one day by playing as a certain character? Like having 400 health when playing Kylo Ren etc?

    1.I would like to ask you, do you plant to add Flametrooper or Scout trooper in camouflage version? There are some characters I miss so much.

    Don't misunderstand me, Im so glad because of your mod, even if its in beta its just 10000% better than the original kotf, and MB2, and im thankful , because this mod helps to keep the game alive.

    But as I said there are some characters that I miss soo much, and a Normal droideka as a player model.

     

    2. Is is possible to check the ,, spawn vehicle " possibilities? Because I know only Droideka, and Im sure there are some more (like at-st etc)

     

    3. When do you plan to update the game? Is the date public?

    1. I'm guessing you're talking about the First Order flametrooper? We're not against putting it in, but we'll need to code in a flamethrower weapon for it. Does the flamethrower model exist? The camouflaged scout trooper I believe is already in the mod? Look under the 41st Elite Corps faction in the Galactic Republic.

     

    2. Leaving out vehicles (minus the swoop, tauntaun, and monster vehicles) from the spawner was intentional. Vehicles in single player are very unreliable for the most part, and we wanted to avoid any potential player headaches as a result of this.

     

    3. We've released 3 updates so far, if you're asking about future updates, refer to the FAQ.

  4. Well I if I remeber correctly the MB2 Droidekas are still vehicles and I think you could figure something out for droidekas much like how Phasma deflects blaster blots.

    Phasma deflecting blaster bolts was just a script implemented in the code. We'll have to look at it in more detail.

    First of all, sorry for my english, if you have issues to understand what I want to say, just mention it.

     

    I just checked models / skins, and I noticed there isnt Droidekas. And im wondering why. I know, Droidekas uses different mechanic (rolling) but, there is a mod called MB2, and they already did the Rolling mechanic, so it would be possible. Maybe is there any chance to talk with their Dev team, and ask them to give Droideka's source code? I mean it would be so useful to write rolling mechanic from Zero, if there is already a working one.

     

    Hope you can understand, what I wrote :D

    I'll keep this short.

     

    Yes, we want droidekas in

     

    We don't need to ask mbII for their source code because Tim did it in SP, 2.0 released without OpenJK, so therefore it's possible to do droidekas with little or no coding. Plus even if we asked, they'd more than likely just say no.

     

    We'll put them in one day, don't know when.

  6. Launcher has been updated, you can download the new launcher through the link above or by pressing the "Update" button on the launcher. 

     

    V5 Changes:

     

    - The launcher will now run if the KotF folder is absent.

     

    - If mods are detected in the base folder, a warning message will appear informing you of any potential crashes.

  7. Launcher has been updated, the bugfixes are as follows:

     

    V4 Changes:

    - Updated the background picture so Thrawn has the top of his head restored + Palpatine is more focused.

    - You will now be required to run the updater from the launcher, attempting to run the updater by itself will result in an error message and the program will not run. This was done to prevent potential issues with first-time users installing the mod in the wrong place, thus causing the mod to get grey blocks instead of text as it's supposed to.

    NEW LIGHTSABERS

     

    - Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars: Rebels)
    - Darth Maul (Star Wars: Rebels)

     

    LIGHTSABER CHANGES

     

    - General Grievous' four armed lightsabers have reduced damage to account for damage balance.
    - The CIS plugged the Magnaguard's electrostaves in the wrong outlet. They will now do reduced damage.

     

    MULTIPLAYER

     

    - SFX Lightsabers have been removed from Multiplayer to allow for compatibility with other mods.
    - All KotF weapons have been removed from Multiplayer to allow for compatibility with other mods.
    - RGB Lightsabers have been removed from Multiplayer to allow for compatibility with other mods.
    - The NPC limit in Multiplayer has been increased to allow for the presence of all current npcs developed.

     

    MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES

    - Sound fixes for certain characters and weapons have been implemented.

  9. oh well i mean i did what the other guy said before to copy skins to base so i can use with serenity mod, but some of the sith lords dont pop up like revan sion nihilus or the emp, and also some for some reason are atuomatically using guns

    KotF is incompatible with the serenity engine.

  10. is there a reason why some force users like revan are defaulted to guns? like when i have all guns allowd revan and few others cant carry lightsaber for some reason. Any way to fix this without console. For some reason some of the old republic dont appear on roster, like bastilla is missing sion nihlius and the one and only revan but Treya is there lol wtf

  11. By manipulating load orders I managed to play that mod and the old KotF 2.0 at the same time

     

    If I ever manage to do that with the 2.1 version I'll come to this post again lol

     

    We can't allow the distribution of Jedi Outcast with this mod. I hope you succeed, but you can't distribute the game alongside it, it's essentially piracy.

    If you change to a character that's on the dark side, this will happen. Dark side characters cannot harm each other. You'll have to switch to light side if-ever you want to switch to a dark character and still play the campaign normally.
