  1. It just needed some weight paint lol. Alright, I'm gonna figure something out about that gauntlet and he's done I textured him a glove there, so I declare Ren pretty much done.
  2. Alright, finally have an update on Ren, but unfortunately it's bad news. For some reason the helmet is interfering with the export. Says there's a non triangle face. Not really sure what it means by that. Is it that most of the model's faces aren't triangular? Is there an option in blender to do this? I have no clue why something like this would even be an issue. Update as of 2 seconds later (once again I can't figure out why my posts are merging) I figured it out. Stay tuned for an in game screenshot. All that's left is the gauntlet Update again: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DID IT DO THAT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH It seems I am having some issues with the helmet floating above the model rather than acting as part of his body. I will keep trying to fix this
  3. "Hey Bigphil! How's Ren coming" Uhhhhhhh.... So anyway rough draft of Moff Gideon. All he really needs is some texturing. Shouldn't be too hard, since 90% of it will be recoloring anyway.
  4. Ren has become my Cyberpunk 2077. I keep getting distracted and making really quick Frankensteins TLJ flashback scene Luke for example.
  5. From what I can tell there are no internal shots of the temple. But we have a few external ones from the movies and comics External shot of the hut and temple External shot from TLJ External shot from the comic Some of the surrounding area So I would imagine there are a few small huts like Kylo Ren's sitting around it. There are also some rock formations all around. The temple itself is on a hill, and has kind of a domed roof. There appears to be some possible inconsistency between the designs, and the surrounding area. I think so long as the gist of the map is understood, that shouldn't be a real issue.
  6. I have one. What's your discord? I made you an NPC, because I realized it didn't come with one. Type NPC SPAWN DARKTROOPER. If it doesn't work right, let me know and I'll fix it.
  7. I took a break from working on this yesterday and just played the game (I did look at some shader stuff though). I feel like helmetless Ren is 90% done. He needs some more touching up, but everything is functional. Still need a gauntlet, and maybe just some messing around with his clothing. I'm looking into some more modelling techniques to make the helmet from scratch. That way I can control how he model looks, and how textures are applied
This is one time where lightsaber knock back has really added something. When I spawn a bunch of lowtier Sith zombies and they just batter me around, it's a lot of fun.
  8. How do I uninvert the normals? Or cull as two sided? Update 20 minutes later: I figured it out Hair still looks weird. Need to buff out some of those weird bends in the model. Other than that I'm fairly happy. Can't work on this too much more tonight, gotta go to the dentist and fix a tooth ache. Wednesday and Thursday I will work the entire days to finish this. Then I'll work on Starkiller a bit more, just to get the final textures, and see if the staff will grant me permission to post it. Update (I don't know how to keep my replies from merging) : I made another quick Frankenstein a few days ago. I don't plan to release Jedi Finn, unless I get permission from the creator of Finn. With this, and the officer Finn, I could probably release a Finn pack. Since the robes here are from spanki, I can recolor them. Possibly even give Jedi Finn SP support fully.
  9. Alright, I'm now applying the new textures. I think the torso looks fine. I'll be making the hair a bit more mullety in blender soon too. The helmet textures are giving me some trouble though Having a little trouble Does anyone know how to fix this? In game there is just a hole in the back of his head
  10. So let me be clear. I know how to retexture things in adobe photoshop. However, I want to know if there is an easier way to do it. See, I have a helmet texture to do. This helmet is going to be a bit tricky. So I've come to ask, is there a method to retexturing I've never learned? Usually I just stretch an image over where it needs to go, but lately I've noticed that isn't working how I want with various more detailed models. If not, I guess I'll just be touching up my Photoshop skills, or see if this is solvable in blender.
  11. Update on Ren: I still do not have textures on his helmet, but that will happen soon. Ren might actually be finished by tomorrow. I still need his gauntlet though.
  12. I'll keep those models in mind let me hunt down that Sion especially, since most of his body could be ported for the model. The easy thing about making Ren. Even though he's shirtless, his neck and head are different colors
  13. A very rough Frankenstein of Ren. I was mostly just trying to compile all the pieces I'll need. All but the torso itself I have permission to use. I'm certain the torso won't be too big of a deal though.
These droid packs might not get too many downloads, but us who are real know these are great. Someday I might try a full on custom campaign, in which these droids will be a very fine addition to the game world. I think all game mappers should be looking at these droid models you've made as an excellent way to really improve the atmosphere of any SW related map. Amazing and underrated work, on not just this one, but all the other droid packs. I will be putting them in my SP roleplay that I do for myself at any rate.
  14. Yeah, I have a whole build for testing too. That's how I solve 99% of my own issues
  15. Good job Doughnuts But you will never have the coveted copper trophy. Excuse me, while I melt this bad boy into $20 in pennies
  16. The way this is formatted makes it look like I solved this while writing the post lol
  17. So I have been doing some Frankensteining recently and I've noticed on several of my models capes are appearing on the back, but on the front they are completely invisible. I managed to fix this somehow, after LOADS of tweaking. Though I'm not even remotely sure of what I did. Back side, the cape is visible Front side, it's no longer visible It's really weird. It even happens on my game when I use other people's models. This one comes to mind, when I used it the cape wouldn't work properly. Despite seeing it work on other people's games. But not all. Grievous VM and the Darth Vader I pulled that body for Luke off of, both work perfectly. I'm wondering if this is a shader issue. Before someone says something, I'm not throwing shade on the Mando model. It's actually one of the highest quality models I've seen on here. Which makes me think I'm having some kind of weirdo issue. I have hundreds of shaders in my game, so some of them might not be working due to overload. However the other models that I've made still don't work even on my mod free builds of the game. I'm not really sure what could be wrong. Alright solved the issue. The issue is either Shaders not loading, or not having Shaders at all. Those Frankenstein's of mine had no Shaders. The Din Djarin's were not loading in my game. I will have to clear out some of the mods in my base folder, which I have been building since 2010 soon.
  18. Commander Karbin will be going back up soon. Apparently there was ported content in the head model. I have found a new head, and have attached it. The big issue is that the cape is glitching out on me. Might make a thread to see if this can be fixed. Not entirely sure why the cape is doing this, since it's only happening in game. Might try slightly remodeling the cape. It will be resubmitted either today, or tomorrow.
  19. Sorry, I was ignorant to things back then. Anyway, this file should be going up soon
